Kemper has dedicated (really good) Headphone output in the front, so you don't have to use line level outputs in the back. It's perfectly OK to use KPA only with headphones. You can buy powered speaker later. ;)

Ok, thanks. I was hoping for this. I'd have to wait about 5 weeks after getting it otherwise, so thanks for the quick(ish) answer. I was planning on getting a Yamaha HS-8 active moniter because some guy on here says he uses a pair of those with his Kemper and he said they sound good with it. Anyway, thanks again and have a good day/night :)

I'm planning on buying a Kemper for Christmas and I was wondering, would I be able to use the headphone output without a powered speaker in one of the speaker outputs in the back or would that mess it up like with a regular guitar amp? Or would I have to wait until I could afford a powered speaker to use it at all?

ZombieLoyd - as someone lucky enough to have both, given your stated use and your budget, I think that the Kemper would be a great choice. Till it arrives, spend some time listening to the various profile dealer's sound samples till you find ones that…

I love watching video previews of profiles, I really want one of the Randall SATAN profiles from that SinMix guy. Thanks for your post a lot and have a good day

I chose the Kemper because it enables me to play every amp I want, at any volume, always at the sweet spot.”

My sentiments exactly. And welcome to the forum. You won't be disappointed in the Kemper <img src="http://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/wcf/images/smilies/thumbsup.png" alt="" />

Thanks, I like what I've heard from the kemper so far, I mainly want it because I'd like an amp for a tight, dry metal tone and then switch to a bright clean, and then to a more Marshall classic metal type of tone all from one amp, and for only £1,119 from Andertons, it seems like a FANTASTIC deal, especially when compared to Axe FX. not that I've tried that either but as someone who is getting part time pay, Kemper seems like the better option for my wallet

Hello people, my name is Lloyd and I've been playing guitar for close to 10 years, recording for 2-3 years. I'm planning on getting a Kemper in january and thought I might as well sign up to the forum. Here's a couple questions for all the Kemper users, how do you like your Kemper? Why did you choose it over a real amp?
