Great sound!
Thanks, man! Kemper works real good. And the deeper you get into it the more it surprises you! Both live and in studio.
Last to 2 years I use KPA on every gig - -
Great sound, really like "Leaves" - nice Joe Cocker vibe! Is that an API on the vox?
Thank you! Joe Cocker is one of my favorite singers. So much soul in his singing!
Thank you again!
Today I'll be in studio and tell you exactly if it was API or not. Need to talk to soundman))) -
Well done!! Nice playing and tone
Thank you, Zapman!
I love music so much! -
The guitar sounds great, man, and played tastily too! Yes, very-tasty guitar sounds and playing. Sounds so natural, too.
If I may say, and this is a beef I have with a lot of recorded material these days, I don't think the vocals need quite as much presence as they have been given. IMHO, it makes sibilance unnaturally-loud. If you imagine someone talking to you from close by, again, IMHO, that's the amount of presence one needs, and no more. The idea is for every "T", "S" and "D" to be easily-recognisable for intelligibility's sake.
My theory as to why this is so-often overdone these days is that because of the high-fidelity of mic's, preamps and recording systems, it just... happens, especially when you factor in the use of plugins that "pride" themselves on maintaining high fidelity and bringing things to the fore.
All-up 'though, it's a great effort IMHO!
Thank you for the answer! Appreciate!
And the things you wrote are very useful too!
Thank you, man! -
Hello, friends!
I play in the band and we use Kemper a lot when playing live.
And a couple of weeks ago I brought it to studio. And it is working! And it is working great!!!!!

Congratulations! Now you'll have eternal honey moon with your KPA. And don't forget to write how do you like it!

Great track Telecasters sounds so great on the KPA !
Thanks! Oh, yes they do!))))))
-
Awesome sound and playin'.
What speakers are you using when playing live withthe Kemper.?Thank you for kind words! Usually I go straight to mixer. And sometimes I run it through simple active monitor, JBL for ex. On this video they had Yamaha(I don't remember which model) for rehearsals.
I wish I had power amp built in my device in this case I could use my cabinet. And you? -
Love it, man!
EDIT:
What's the wah? It sounds sensational.Oh, thanks, man! It is AMT-wah right in front of KPA:http://amtelectronics.com/new/amt-wh-1/ Just borrowed it for a moment from a friend.
But I need to try the KPA-wah. Can't wait to recieve the remote. People say it works great. -
Hi, everybody!
First of all I want to say that I'm totally in love with my Kemper. It can literally save when you on the road and makes life easier in studio! Wonderful soundmachine!!!!!!

Hello!! I'm new here too) And I like it here!
You say just got your Kemper. Congratulations!
I remember the day when I got mine - I played 8 hours in a row! )) Keep on rocking! -
Thank you for the answer, Sharry!
I did try Behringer monitor and it does the job. Looking for something better now. It'd be better to buy powered version, now I see! -
Thank you! As long as It's a forum I got the question.
My device has no power amp so I'd like to install it and use my Kemper in live situations on the regular basis.
What decision would you recommend to take? Does someone have the same problem? If yes how did you solve it?P.S.: 2 Monkey_Man: Yes it is) And also he sings: What a friend we have in Kemper))) But speaking seriously, he was very surprised by the way it can work!

That's what I said that day when I got it in my hands. I saw and tested KPA at the recording studio once and since that day I was thinking about getting me one!
And now the mission is complete!
To record with this unit is a true pleasure - sounds awesome and it's very hard(if not impossible) to tell the difference between real amp and KPA especially when you play through the cabinet. I'm totally in love with conception and sound, our sound guy cries with happy tears every time we use it live.I used it with my real pedalboard and noticed that Kemp is very friendly to my pedals, but I need to get a native remote. I bought my Kemp in December so I got a long way to go, heh)))))) That's it, brothers and sister in KPArms))))
My name is Vlad,I live in Yekaterinburg (Russia) and play the guitar for Blues Doctors and love music very much! Recently we released EP "Made At Home" and all guitar parts on this record were done using Kemper: https://soundcloud.com/blues-doctors/dont-give-up
Have a good day and play guitar !
