    Hi all

Can the powerhead version of the Kemper run one line out, or even better two lines out (powered) to a single 1x12 or two 1x12 speaker cabinet/s and another line out (UN-powered) to 2 stereo powered desktop monitors that I use with my computer?

Also can powerhead users comment on the sound of the Class D power amp in the Kemper vs a tube power amp like the Fryette Power Station?

    Thanks

    Andrew

Maybe i am misunderstanding your post but from i read you can do exactly that already with the Profiler. The signal that enters the Profiler is present at the direct out in several varieties (git/analog, git/studio, git/processing) from there you go to…

Yes i read about those in the reference manual. From what I could gather none of those options would allow the signal to be processed by the first four stomp slots. It will only take the pure guitar signal and either output it directly unprocessed, or subject it to AD conversion and vary the output level for git+processing and git studio respectively.

I want to be able to run my signal through those first four stomp slots, then tap off a feed from there to run out to another tube amp and cab as my dry sound, and the remaining signal run through the stack section of the Kemper and the mod section and out to a DXR10 as my wet sound.

He's (see his other thread) actually asking for a Direct out output taken after the Stomps an before the Amp. Currently, the available options are pre-Stomps or post-Amp.

    Correct, e_m?

    Viabcroce you are correct :)

    Hi

I'd like the ability to run the Kemper as part of a wet/dry rig in combination with a physical tube amp. At the moment I use a Axe FX Ultra in a wet/dry set up with my tube amp. I send my guitar through some choice ODs, into the Ultra where I might add some other effects. I then split the signal with one side going out of the Axe FX and into the front end of my tube amp and 2x12 cab. The other part of the signal goes through an amp and cab emulation ins the Axe, and perhaps some delay and verb in the Axe and out to a FRFR DXR10.

If the Kemper had the ability to run this sort of signal chain I would definitely switch to using it, as having played it I love the amp sounds I was getting.

Are you sure about that? I read the Output Sources section and it says stack "This signal is tapped directly behind the Stack Section and does not include any post amp effects". Because the stack section in the Kemper is the amp and cab, I thought this feed would include the amp and cab in the signal?

Is there a way to tap of a signal feed from the Kemper after the first group of stomps, but just before the amplifier? I've looked through the 149 page reference manual but I couldn't see that you could do that.

Can I replicate this set up with the Kemper? I'm thinking....no, but hope that someone knows a way I can do it. With the upgrades to the firmware and the shift in focus to improving the effects I'd like to invest in a Kemper.

This is the one thing that prevents me from changing from the Axe FX to the Kemper. It is much faster for me to be able to have many parameters up on a software editor at once and change what I need too when creating presets. This is especially the case when you change platforms say from another modeller to the Kemper. I have over a hundred preset sounds with amps, cabs and effects configurations that I would need to move across into the Kemper. A software editor makes this much faster.
