Ok it’s probably because the Leadfoot fs-2 has latching switches. I need momentary switches.
-
I have a trs dual footswitch connected to the KPP.
System setup is:
Mode=Dual switch,
Switch ring= next rig
Switch tip= previous rig.
Whenever i want to switch to next rig or previous rig, I need to stomp TWICE on the external footswitch. I would have expected a single stomp would suffice?
-
Any chance to get either the L or R output assignable to be used with a dual footswitch? I believe those outputs are TRS anyway, so should be doable via firmware? And I only use the XLR to front.
Currently I use an expression pedal for wah, so I have no option anymore to connect an external footswitch.
And since I tend to stomp on the wrong switch from time to time, when playing live, because the switches are very close to each other, an external footswitch would be a great solution (for me at least)

So I was playing my Player when suddenly there was no sound anymore. I looked at the device and half of the leds were blinking red.
There was another thread here about this and suspicion was voltage issue.
I have a CIOS Sol with 4 ports used for the Player. It was set to 12v / 400ma.
I now changed it to 9v/600ma per port.
It’s weird because i’ve been using it with the 12v ports for weeks now at my place.

Did Kemper ship you the screen?
-
No worries, thanks for making it available again! 🤘

How do you use the Dunlop? More as a volume, or as a wah?
Exclusively as a wah
-
Got the Sol + grip + cables today. Just need to get another flat cable to replace the green One and it’s
Done.
-
Currently doing that (4. outputs into one) works fine
Do you set the outputs to 9v or 12v?
-
Aaah gone already?
-
Has anyone tried to use the Cioks SOL with current doubler cables to power the Kemper?
I ordered the Sol, should arrive tomorrow hopefully.

I have a dunlop mini x connected to the exp input on the player. When i have a rig with a wah, everything works as it should.
However: when I switch to a rig that has a volume pedal everything works great within that rig. The following issue occurs after using the expression pedal as a volume and switching back to a rig with a wah slot: gain is gone. All profiles now sound like the gain has been turned down 80%.
Sometimes, when I unplug the cable in the expression input, the sound is gone completely. Reinserting the exp cable brings back the crippled gain sound.
Only solution is to power cycle the Player.
I used my Moog EP-3 from my power rack, and same issue.

ah crap, yeah. So then I would need 3 of those 8800 cables? 2 cables for the 4 outputs, and 1 cable to combine to other two cables.
Would I still need to set the outputs to 9V then (combined 2,64A) or 12V (combined 2A)
-
I'm about to get a Ciosk Sol, as that should also work to power the Player + my Shure GLXD16 wireless pedal, and is a heap cheaper than the DC7 + Crux
I would need the Cioks 8800 cable to combine two 9V ports, correct?
-
Exactly this!!!
You’ll need to ship it to kemper hq then
-
Maybe they’ll release a small display for the
Tuner that connects to the usb port 😂

Hey! could you add a couple more pictures of your board by any chance? I thought the metro 16 was bigger..but it looks good. Initally I was planning on getting the voodoo labs dingbat tiny.
Sure. Here it is with the dunlop dvp4 instead of the “big” kh-95 wah.

I had something similar happen a couple of years ago.
Does it sound like this (notice that nothing is connected to the Kemper): Video.MOV
It's a hardware issue and some things need to be replaced. In my case it was an ICM board and analog board plus an internal ribbon cable that were replaced under warranty (I had 1 week warranty left luckily)
