I actually backed them up not long after I got the Player. I didn't have much to lose so I did the factory reset.
That's so cool! Very kind of you, thanks!!

all the factory Rigs a available in Rig Manager
Could you please be more specific, are they in a map pack? I don't see any folder referring to the Players Factory Rigs.
I don't want to loose my settings and rigs as it is now. I hoped someone backed up the rigs....
Hi,
I've deleted all factory rigs on my player to organize my own rigs and forgot to back them up first.
Now I miss them.
Has anyone a backup of all factory rigs of the player and is willing to share them with me?
Thanks in advance
Interesting point.
The thing is, when I play at festivals, there is only like 10mins time to setup my gear.
Because of that I wanted a starting point on the Mains Output Volume that helps the engineer to get my level right as fast and easy as possible (without requiring me to change the volume settings for Mains that much since I am focussed on other stuff of my gear)
Thank you! That's the kind of tips I was looking for.
Hi,
Wat is the common DB level for the MAIN output volume to send to FOH.
I do realise a lot is depending on the rig volume.
But is there any rule of thumb regarding MAIN output level (DB) to be used?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
When I use any Chorus effect in the last slot just before the Output block and listen through the Main Output (xlr) ti my DAW, the mix knob is doing nothing. It sounds like the Mix is always set to 100% (even though the mix knob animation is working properly). I wanted to use the CE-1 but it applies to any chorus.
I thought maybe it's my output settings so I tried Master Mono, Master Left, Master Stereo, but nothing made a difference.
Not sure whether it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong.
My signal chain is Input>808>Wah>Amp>Cab>EQ>Chorus>Output
Any other settings I have missed?
Hi,
Hi is it possible to change the wifi password for access point mode?
It's greyed out , can't change it now.
Would be nice so I can set up a connection much quicker
Hi,
As the title says:
I can connect Rig Manager on IOS directly to the player using 'access point mode' and have the Player connected through Bluetooth to my IOS phone as well (led is Purple)
However, rigmanager (on my phone) will not 'see' the player untill I stop streaming music via bluetooth.
When I disconnect just bluetooth (led is Red) I am able again to use rig manager on my phone.
So somehow it can't do bluetooth stream and rig manager to the same phone at the same time.
Sounds familiar? Is there a solution for this?
I know this is on old topic, but I have exactly the same problem.
I started a long time ago but I was expecting that it was me not able to dial in the proper settings.
However it got worse. It's the 4 knobs below the screen but also Master Volume and that is a problem as it can jump from silent to very loud at once.
Could this be a software issue?
My unit is built december 2016
Hi,
I don't have a Player yet but am thinking of buying one, but here is a question.
All of ma favourite rig on my powerrack use all slots.
I do know which slots I want to sacrifice when I copy them to my Player in the future.
But how does Rig Manager deal with this?
I mean, when dragging a rig from my powerrack (using all slots) to the Player, does it offer me the option which effect/stomp goes to which slot on the Player?
O do I need to export all slots on my powerrack and build them again from scratch on the Player?
For play along, I use Anytune and retune the recording. Much simpler and the app will adjust in .01 cent increments. I've used Transcribe! on Windows, which also has pitch-adjustment. In the age of tape recordings, *so* many songs were sped up or slowed slightly in post production.
That's more of a workaround, I guess it's not that difficult to implement in KAOS I guess
It’s great for playalong. If you for example want to play Pantera stuff, it’s a royal pain because you need to retune your Floyd rose to 432 or 425 or whatever they were using.
This! Pantera is an example but there are more album (Ride The Lightning is another one, or all Machinehead stuff)
From the manual
Reference Pitch PROFILER Bubble Tuner display. Use “Reference Pitch” to adjust the base pitch of the tuner between 424 Hz and 456 Hz, in case you need to tune your guitar to something other than 440 Hz
I get that one of course, but that involves retuning.
The quad cortex for instance has the possibility to also downtune cents besides the steps. That's what I hoped for.
Hi,
I miss the feature of the transpose function to detune in cents for tunings like 425hz.
Is there any workaround other dan retuning the guitar or external pedal?
