AFAIK rig volume changes volume at the end of chain wheras amp volume changes it before fx. If you have some fx that are sensitive to volume there might be a significant change in sound.
True - but usually you don't.

Generally use amp volume to even out all your rigs. Then use rig volume to boost for specific purposes like solos. There are many other ways but this approach is solid.
I have that as well. Works great. It is mono however which might not be what you want for use at home.
Not an answer as such but have you tried dialing in the tone on the amp while going through the Kemper?
Wireless Bluetooth technology uses compression which will change the tone drastically. Get wired or use other than Bluetooth.!
Actually the newer protocols are ok (like aptx etc.). However the latency will still be an issue.
Your wish is my command, Niko. All versions and links:
Digitech GSP1101 v1, 2 & 3 - Cederick Forsberg 2018-10-05.zip
Hahahaha amazing. Thanks buddy. I had given up finding the profile and only mentioned it as a joke. Thanks!
Does anyone use the Kemper with Universal Apollo Solo? I've got my main outputs on the Kemper into the UAD, outputs on the Apollo to my monitors, but I'm getting no sound on the DAW (Studio One Artist 5) or via monitors.
Do you have input in the UAD console app?
I care what Slash thinks. I'm ok with him not thinking exactly like me though
Hehe. I was looking for Cedericks profile of a digitech GPS1101 preset that was great for Firepower the other day. Care to dig that up as well perhaps?
They have higher resolution than what is displayed. Nothing is "continuous" in the digital realm though.
But try setting EQ to zero. You'll see both <0.0> which means zero and 0.0 which probably means something like 0.04.
In cubase have you set it to release audio in background? If so try without it (generally don't recommend it anyway).
PC version works flawlessly! This will be part of my recording template for every guitar track moving forward. Thanks so much for this. Not sure how much coffee is where you live, but I made a modest donation :).
I really like that it seems to store the edit buffer, not the last saved state of the active rig. This is exactly how it should be. I have to unlock everything on the profiler to get the full state back, but that is as expected and just something to consider.
Like I can store a rig within a DAW? But I cannot use it anyway (the plugin doesn't do anything audio wise) - I think I need some visual explanation
RM Rig------>VST
Time passes... You forget which rig you used and want to fix something.
VST------>RM Rig
Play stuff.
Visual enough?
Agreed. This will be extremely useful.
Hmmmm... is it like this?
I record direct guitar on a track and thek I can apply Kemper's profile with this VST and change to another profile if I want to?
AS well as I can save session in DAW and all will be remembered?
The plugin doesn't do anything audio wise. But you can store the rig you used in case you need it later for overdubs etc.
Can't see it in Cubase (PC) Either. It's installed alright:
And Cubase knows that folder:
However I can't find it as an insert:
Nice. I'm still surprised someone is actually capable of building a guitar. Wouldn't know where to start. Impressive.
Wonderful. Thanks for fixing the highlight error. Have a great weekend team.
