And if the app needs permissions it should ask for it?

How exactly do I select the network on the Kemper? I get this screen:
And the WPS button doesn't seem to go anything:
Not sure how this is supposed to work?
I wonder if Pixel 7 has some firewall settings we don't usually expect?
I guess devs need to look into what triggers that error message. Pixel phones are running the most stock version of Android.
Doesn't work for me (Pixel 7 Pro, Android 14). The app can't find my profiler in Home-Network mode and when I change to Access-Point mode then it can't connect either because there's a popup saying "Rig Manager needs access to devices".
I get this too. Pixel 7 here also.
Hi,
With the eminent release of the Android based I thought I'd try it. However I can't get my Stage to connect to my wifi. I activate WPS button on the router, but when I click the WPS button on the stage nothing happens. There is zero visual indication that the button is pressed. How is it supposed to work?
WPS stands for WiFi Protected Setup. A router with a WPS button can allow any device to automatically connect to your router when the WPS button is pressed. When you press the WPS button, your router looks for compatible devices right away and allows those devices automatically connect
Thanks. I'm with you so far :). But shouldn't there be some kind of visual response when clicking the button?
Perhaps a bit off topic. But how is the WPS button supposed to work? I click it, but nothing seems to change. Should the display show something? Or perhaps the button should flash? What to expect?
I have tried hotspot mode. The app finds my Stage, but upon trying to connect the app says something about allowing the app access to network or something. And the connection fails?
GString thoughts?
Well thanks for looking into it!
Yeah. Anything but electric guitars actually. Vocals, drums, bass, acoustic guitars.
I'm not sure the Kemper switches are really suitable for looping in terms of timing precision. The actual switch is triggered by the physical switch via a spring. Which introduces a delay that's hard to compensate for.

Indeed you can. It works correctly when I do that. "Replace" pops up, I do that, and the changes stick on the stage.
Seems like a software bug perhaps then?
Just followed your process on my toaster and it kept the settings. I copied one slot to another and it automatically saved (line stayed green) and synced with my Kemper. When I switched to a different performance and back the settings were kept.
You have something weird going happening. You might try right clicking on the slot and selecting "Store in profiler" to see if that saves it.
Burkhard check this. wpotere reports that it auto saves. Replace stays green.
Can I drag and drop from one slot to the other in RM?
Ok. I'll try. Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't change anything (for the better anyway :)). I'll open a support ticket and attach a backup.
BTW. If I simply tweak a parameter afterwards the "Replace" button becomes active. So overall USB communication seem to work fine.
Thanks Burkhard. Should be on the latest. Just reproduced after booting everything:
Tried changing to another USB port. Same thing. Any hints?
For what it's worth. I only update to stable releases these days. And only after it's been out for some time. I'm very thankful to all you beta testers
RM performance mode is a mess for me. Even on the stable release. Have you tried rebooting and switching performances?
