New user here. Does anyone know of a 9volt adapter that has an angled plug similar to a OneSpot that has the correct specs? I think the OneSpot is only 1700ma max. I’m using a Cioks Big John that has a courtesy ac adapter but the stock power supply won’t fit underneath because of the angle. Thanks!!

tsachou: what do you mean? you cannot spread misinformation without backed claims.
the KPP works just fine with USB MIDI ... this has been demonstrated many times, and everybody can find proof of this on multiple reports on the web.
one thing which isn't/wasn't supported in the current firmware release is the selection of a received MIDI channel.. this has been implemented already now (currently in beta-firmware), and will be available in the next firmware.
if you encounter problems: please explain what isn't working for you, and we'll try to help find the problem in your specific setup.
but do not bleat around unbacked nonsense.STOP THAT BS ! I have that device from day one with two different midi switcher not even Ron from RJM could help as the kemper receive messages on OMNI that has to be fixed on the Kemper Player side . like I said stop it ! I paid my money for this device , I play decent shows I'm fairly good using my products so ... really yo chill .
-
BE READY for a LOT of issues with the Kemper Player ! how do I know ? my setup is pretty unusable right now as the KPP act crazy with midi message that goes around it . if it the ONLY midi devices , you can around but it sending pcs and ccs ... you need luck !!! I can't talk much about it here too many defensive responses !

Funny you say this-- I thought you were joking initially, but my unit will not stay powered on with the included power supply? Any ideas if I might be missing something easy? It powers up for about 3-4 seconds, and then turns off? I only have power, headphones, and guitar cable plugged in.
With the og power supply it works fine for me . I was referring to other modules that normally is said to supply 1 amp at 12v

Alright here is mine , up for the critics ! Constantly thinking of the hx One replacing the H9
-
I think you can , I assign mine to monitor out as I send the main XLR to front of house !

Btw, here's how my final rig looks like:
messy if you ask me , ohh I forgot I can't honest on the kemper forums

I have a GigRig Generator on an old pedal board. I loved the concept of a modular power supply. However, I felt like I got robbed when I found out how many different distributors and adaptors I needed for my actual board. I should have done more homework I suppose but damn it turned out to be an expensive mistake. The Generator will definitely power the Plater but if you want to power anything other than the just the Player you will need a Distributor or an Isolator as well. Unfortunately, those little plastic solder less clip as pretty shitty and break easily. I've ruined two distributors already and would never use them again. I love Daniel Steinhart and the G2/G3 midi controllers but the power system is a hard no for me.
Sorry to hear , I been lucky I guess I'm still using the old one and have completed set spares thinking I was gonna built another board .

The is ton of this one power supply I'm using on reverb now for head no additional module needed for the kpp 5 AMPS cleanest power I have ever used on pedalboard yes it is a modular system but will work with ANYTHING on the market I even power my QC with the 2 of the supanova ( the new ones )

If i understand it well, the matter is that if you take a profile with modified parameters as Clarity, Tube Bias, etc...
There's an incidence on the sound but you will not be able to return to the original state even with PC rig manager
nope unless you have your other device , make the changes there then reexport it for the Kemper Player
-
The profiles still make full use of all the deeper level functions but you can’t edit them on the Player. I suppose that is consistent with the concept of a “Player” rather than a “Profiler”. I can’t say this limitation really bothers me as I’m not much of a Tweaker even on my Powered Head but I can see how some users might find this limiting.
tbh I feel like I got robbed after noticing that . if either the hx stomp or Tonex pedal had the ability to control the monitor volume independently this kpp would have went back the same day .
-
I just realized the NOT Even the AMP profile of the KPP have the same parameters from the the STAGE ! I am shocked I didn't read that anywhere !! 🥵 wooooow
-
the same power supply I had on my pedalboard ever since Line6 Hxstomp came out is the same I'm using today with my Kemper Player today . TBH the Kemper Player is a great built . if we need to do what we are asking it sure needs power for all that .

Allow me a stupid question:
How do you guys attach the Player to your boards? A little velcro tape on the corners?3M Dual lock
