If I am using stereo fx on my kemper, will the monitor output sum them to mono if i plug it into a single in on an amp?
Thank you!

I am using a boss es8 to send midi ccs to my kemper.
Does anyone have the corresponding numbers to play / record / stop / overdub / undo / reverse / 1/2 speed at all?
Thank you.

I would love to use an expression pedal to sweep through the harmonic intervals.
I've enjoyed just manual turning the knob on the profiler, but it would be great to be able to play and scroll through the notes in the scale simultaneously.
Any hacks available with midi cc?

Thanks so much for your reply.
While cc # 11 should work, I would suggest using cc# 80, which simulates a switch triggering Morphing. Any value between 1 and 127 will trigger toe position and value 0 will trigger heel position. If you use a button triggering Morphing the Rig Settings "Rise Time" and "Fall Time" will apply, but these could be set to "0" as needed.
This has worked perfectly.

5 years on and i am looking for the solution to this too.
any joy?

I am trying to send a midi message to my kemper that would change certain parameters in a stomp module to go to the top of the morph value immediately (namely the feedback on a phaser).
I have run out of stereo loops so can't just switch to another phaser with a different setup.
I tried sending the midi cc 11 with a value of 127, but this doesn't seem to work.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful.
Failing that, I can just setup a new rig altogether to switch to with the settings i need.
Cheers!

maybe that is a misunderstanding. The volume pedal range has a value range of -5 to +5. You will find it on the volume pedal settings page in the rig menu. It is not a control change command.
ok, i know the range section you are talking about.
I'll look into it. thanks

you need to change the volume pedal range for the rigs that you do not want to respond to volume pedal values to zero and store the rigs with that setting.
amazing, thank you.
I had assumed 127, but makes sense to use 0 to totally disengage .

Are you referring to the Main Manual or the Midi manual? There is a separate midi manual in the downloads section of the Kemper website. This contains midi info for all controllable parameters.
i had missed thismanual entirely. Thanks

Do you think I can just send cc 0 to the kemper then?
What corresponding value (0-127) would go with it?
As there is no pedal set up in the consecutive patch, I thought that by switching to the next patch, it would just automatically cancel out any volume pedal information.
-
do you mean send that command to the kemper?
I would be able to do that, i just can't find the corresponding midi cc value anywhere in the manual.
-
and the same thing is happening for a pedal pitch setting too.

Hi there,
I am using my boss ES-8 to send midi cc to the Kemper to engage my expression pedal as a volume pedal in one of my patches.
The issue I am having is when I go to the next patch, the volume is stuck on whatever level the expression pedal left it at.
Is there a Midi cc i can send to reset the volume, or cancel the pedal altogether?
I have tried changing the next patch's midi range for the exp to min cc127 and max cc127, but that doesn't seem to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I should add I am using the Kemper in Browser mode.
Thanks!

Hi,
apologies for the basic question.
I am getting my head around editing rigs I have already created before the manager software.
I would like to copy pre existing rigs i have made and edit and save them for a new pedal board layout.
I want to keep the original rigs so I am able to revert back to a previous set up.
At the moment, if I copy and paste a rig it edits the original as well as the pasted version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

ok, i have found the solution.
I needed to press 'm' to activate the morph. It would then let me edit as normal.
-
I think you just "right click" on the parameter and select "remove morph". Then you can make a new one.
I've found this doesn't quite solve the problem I have.
It removes the morph value, but it doesn't exit morph mode.
I don't want to make a new one, just adjust the other levels as normal.
I want to be able to tinker with parameters and there seems to be no way of exiting morph mode once I've entered it.

Yes, i think you're right.
Frustratingly the h9 has no way of lowering the input volume, but it does allow a db boost after the pedal.
-
Thanks again.
I'll try it out and see how we go.
-
Thanks for the reply.
I guess i would then need to compensate for the lower volume by having a boost after the pedals too?
Would i be in danger of losing some tone this way?
