CC# 80 to simulate a Morph Button,
Hey Burkhard,
that's the way I can get it working.
Many Thanks!
Stefan
Hello guys,
I am using the XSONIC AIRSTEP together with the Profiler Stage.
I am able to select the slots in a performance via MIDI and also Morphing is activated when the same MIDI CC is sent again.
According to the manual, the base sound should be activated when morphing is active and the same CC is sent again.
So it should be possible to switch between Base and Morph Sound.
But this is not working for me.
Any hints from MIDI experts?
Many Thanks
Stefan
That would be a really great "feature".
Regards Stefan
PS: Similar to BlueAmps Spark, but with 2 Kones
When you do real double tracking e.g.
Record one part with Guitar A
Record the same part again with Guitar B
Maybe some EQing. Delay, Panning, etc, is needed for these tracks.
When you now playback the two parts in mono this should also work OK. No as good as in stereo I guess.
I think this is also the setup for live. Maybe the two guitars are a little bit left right/panned.
I am not experienced with live setup of doubled guitars, so please excuse me when I am wrong and help me to get it right.
Tx

Guidorist THX for this important info! At least for me this was not clear for me ..... even it's now logical
Hi Guido,
during profile creation of Martial JayVi, were the EQ settings on the real amp for all channels at the 12 o’ clock position ?
Thanks
Stefan
BTW: This rig pack is really awesome! Tx
Interesting Discussion....
At first I figured that I need to set (increase) the DT Volume to about +2, this was one thing which changed my "sound feeling" .......
And I understand from all your explanation, the DT not only doubles the Guitar Signal with some "Looseness", but also changes the guitar sound.
Here my test setups:
Double Tracker parameters:
Looseness: 5 , Stereo: 100% , Detune: 0,0 cent, Volume: +2
1. Monitor Out set to MONO, connected FRFR-108 Channel 1 to Monitor Out Left
--> It's OK, but Still can here sound difference
2. Monitor Out set to MONO, connected FRFR-108 Channel 1 to Monitor Out Left AND FRFR-108 Channel 2 to Monitor Out Right
--> It's OK, only here slightly sound difference - at least my ears ?
3. Monitor Out set to STEREO, connected FRFR-108 Channel 1 to Monitor Out Left AND FRFR-108 Channel 2 to Monitor Out Right
--> It's GOOD for me, my ears can here no more sound difference (as expected)
Option 3. is my current solution which works with the FRFR-108, because it has 2 separate input channels.
But I think it will not work with the Kemper Power Cabinet ?
May somebody can try option 1. with the Kemper Power Cabinet ?
Many Thanks to all for all the help and explanation ! ( I am still a Profile Newbie, so I need some support from the "old" Kemper Guys ?)
Stefan
I am in progress ordering an Kemper Power Kabinet ..... and I guess I will have the same Double Tracker sound issue when using it on Monitor Out in mono? Could anybody verify this who has the Kemper Power Kabinett? Maybe someone from Kemper in the showroom?
Many Thanks
Stefan
You could try the output source "Master Left" for the MONITOR OUT instead of "Master Mono". This way you could use the Double Tracker at stereo outputs e.g. MAIN OUT avoiding the issues at the MONITOR OUT.
Tx, Will give it a try.
You basically took a two channel stereo signal and turned off one channel so your result is expected -- a Single Tracker.
I thought, when I switch to mono, the to stereo channels are summed up when switching to mono.
Hi guys,
the Double Tracker sounds really great when used in stereo.
I have connected two powered monitor speaker to the Stage MONITOR OUT, set to Master Stereo.
When I switch MONITOR OUT to Master Mono, the sounds gets somehow thinner is no more "great" as before.
Any idea how to fix this, or do the DT no work well in mono mode?
Tx

Technical an optical in good condition, only used at home.
Located in Germany.
Shipping is possible within Germany, outside needs to be discussed.
Technical information can be found here : https://www.thomann.de/de/head…fr_112_active_monitor.htm

Sorry for my Newbie question, but I still not sure when to use which EQ.
The following scenario:
At Home I play via Studio Monitors connected to Profiler Monitor Out.
In the rehearsal room I play over PA connected to Profiler Main Out.
Master Stereo is sent to both outputs.
For which situation do I use the Amp EQ to tweak the sound and for which the OUTPUT Section EQ?
I can tweak the Amp EQ for Home usage and then use the Main Out EQ in the OUTPUT section for rehearsal, or the other way around?
Maybe there is another, better solution?
How do you use the OUTPUT Section and the the Amp EQ section for sound tweaking?
Tx Stefan
TX Ruefus, Looks like I need to restore the latest backup .......
My mistake was, that I did not save my output settings as a preset ..... will do asap
Hi,
I played around with some output presets ...... and now I lost my tweaked Output settings.
I there a way to get them back, without restoring the whole Profiler Backup?
Thanks
Stefan
