I downloaded the new rig manager and updated my kemper however when I try to use rig manager, it doesn't allow me to load rigs to the kemper or to adjust the settings of the rig.

when I open rig manager it says I have to update my kemper (but it is updated) and when I check for updates in rig manager it says its up to date...

I worked fine for one day then never since

    please help

I just gotta mess with it for 10 hours and it eventually works haha :(

I had it working ! but then I went to get the rig I wanted to use because somehow it changed, when I did it again, it had the processed guitar on both signals and NO dry now!?

I don't know what happened. mind you ive only had my kemper for a couple weeks but I think my inputs and outputs are screwing with me hardcore.
sometimes I go to just play out of a cab and can only get a clean sound and adjust everything and nothing changes.

If I shut the whole thing down and start up again it will sometimes fix that problem and I can get everything working fine again.
I must be missing something uhh so frustrating.

    Thanks, starting to get there.

My DAW is only receiving the dry signal with the left and right spdif . Seems as though the KPA is not sending the processed distorted side I don't know what happened.
I think I have all the settings right. maybe you know about this problem...
when I plug headphones into my interface I hear dry, and into my KPA do I hear the distorted...

I need help getting started re-amping. I m not getting anything coming through my mix control let alone my Daw...

    I'm going KPA - S/PDIF in/out with Focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface

I think i've tried every output and setting on my kpa in the manual to make it work (git studio s/pdif output right now) however I get nothing in mix control.
    I have the S/PDIF

Attached a screenshot of my mix control .... Help me find out whats wrong

Ive got that turned right down to zero.

now when I try to refine the profile the sound is poor and all crackely

it sounds fine coming through the headphones and everything prior to that...

is there something else I could be missing ?? driving me crazy

    Thanks !!

    Yup, figured it out.
just got my kemper and trying to learn how to profile and remamp all at the same time... confusing myself
    ------------------------------

When I profile my amp it sounds great but then after I store it, the profile sounds like shit... what happened??

I'm going guitar into kemper input, direct out in to my marshall head and cab, mic into my focusrite scarlett 18i20 and using SPIDF IN/OUT.

When I try to profile it makes the alien sounds for a few seconds (while that is happening I cant get any output sound from my reference amp until the kemper stops trying to profile saying ERROR" no external amp connected or volume too low"

Turning up the return level doesn't fix anything.... and I think ive tried everything

is there a wrong connection here or is there an adjustment in the scarlett mixing control that I'm missing?

    HELP!

Sounds like your connections are right but why are you selecting "no cabinet" when you are micing a cab? If you connect headphones, can you hear the amp when you select reference amp in profiling mode? Did you turn the return volume up in the profiling menu? Are you trying to capture a clean or distorted sound from your amp?

Also, a condenser mic will not work because the XLR return on the KPA does not have phantom power. The 57 should work fine.

I'm kind of having the same problem but turning up the return level doesn't fix anything.

I pretty much doing the same.. guitar into kemper input, direct out in to my marshall head and cab, mic into my focusrite scarlett 18i20 and using SPIDF IN/OUT.
