Hello, I am the proud owner of a kemper profiler rack unpowered. I ran it through a line 6 90 wireless set. Since my last few gigs sometimes the sound fully stops. I see a signal coming in the wireless but no sound. Also clicking pedals, switching rigs or turning the main knob from performance to tuning etc doesn't help. Only switching off and on helps. I thought it was the volume pedal but after not connecting it still gives this error 1 to 2 times during a gig.
Is there anybody who can help?
-
It looks like that. I checked your suggestion but didnt help either.
-
Thank you guys. I will contact Kemper today. It happens on both inputs (front and back) and with each guitar I own. I also disabled each section but that doesnt help either. When I disable amp section or parts of it it only increases the noise.

Check it with headphones and see if it still makes the noise, Be Safe
Yes it does. Check out the soundfile

What kind of strange noise?
Better still can you record a clip of it?Just posted!

Hi Exilech. Yes, it's on every output and it sound more like a noise from outside. Its not the noise as you get from an amp and sometimes its louder as well. The tone sucks at that point as well as people think my guitar is producing a strange sound. It effects the tone when its get harder. I cannot reproduce it anytime I like. Sometimes its there and sometimes not. Could it be a bad electricity perhaps?

I'm having a similar issue at the moment, I'm only getting noise through the rear inputs but fine through the front. You may well have a fault, but I'd suggest try different inputs if you can't afford to be without your amp at the moment
Tried front and back.

hi all,
I am playing on my KP since 6 months and sometimes in the last 3 months i am experiencing strange noise when hitting a note or chord or playing a song. Sometimes its gone and a minute later its back and sometimes i can gig without any problems. Today i couldnt even rehearse with the band because of the extreme noise.
Checked:
Cables
Guitar
Inears
Xlr
Noise reduction or effects on and off
What could it be?
Please help.

Thank you @Burkhard I understand. It also was on stage and my mind went all the way trying to think about what could have caused it. So in a bit of a rush I did a lot of things trying to solve it. (a lot of people staring at me...) Let's forget it and focus on the positive side here.

Off course not GforceKemper. I am so happy with my Kemper! I have played over an Egnater with a Koch cabinet and now I only have two small cased and a guitar. Simple and so easy to use!
-
I think that could have caused the problem. My inears went dead as well. I could only hear myself playing when i plugged my ears directly in the kemper headphone input.
-
In first I thought it had something to do with the volume pedal so that was the first thing I disconnected. Other than that I am sure the mixer did not change anything. We have been testing cables/settings for like 10 minutes. Once we restarted it worked immediately. Could it be to do anything with the volume pedal?
-
... No hopefully it wont crash a next time.
-
Hi again. Thanks. There isnt any output volume linked to Master Volume. Other than that it worked in the first 3 songs and didnt touch anything while playing. It happened at once. But will check Main output volume next time. Hopefully there will be no next time.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. My inears went dead as well, but when I plugged them directly in the Kemper it worked. Thats what I meant
to say. Love Cindi Lauper by the way! -
Thanks @gforceguitar. Thats also an advantage. wwittman: no I receive the same signal from monitor desk to my inears.
-
Hi, thanks for your message. I did use the volume pedal before the issue started but when the output was dead I disconnected the volume
pedal as well and switched it off to be sure in the system settings. But the issue was only affecting the main outputs to FOH and my in ears still worked. Signal and input led were also working.
I will check the operating system tonight.
