Oh, there is a new Kemper coming up? Maybe I purchased mine at the very wrong time Well, I'm happy with it so far anyways!

Ahh that sucks. For some reason I don't like loud amps.. Glad I went for the Kemper. There was many attack-heavy presets already installed in the Kemper when I got it, pre-installed.. Is it safe to delete all of the rig presets there without permanently losing them? I just want to fill up my Kemper with soft JM and Mbritt tones for now.

Thanks for all the good advice folks.. Any idea how guitarists remedied this problem with real amps? For example the horrible Marshalls?
-
What a time to be alive To be able to capture amps in their sweet spot and never have to think about mic them up again. Gonna try your initial tip. Can't wait until I get home from work.. I have like 100 Kemper tabs on Chrome here
-
Thanks. Will try when I get home.. Any takes/comments on the issue I am describing? Because I have never seen anyone else ever complaining about such a thing.. I feel like I am the only one reacting to that.

Ok here's a bold statement: I felt that I got a much better sound out of AmpliTube 3 than I ever got from the Marshall amps over at my practice place. Reason was that there was so much attack when I tried to play sweeps and fast solos. It's like the sound was popping even before I was playing the note, and it was very annoying.. That's when I first started hating Marshall amps.. I felt that my old Peavey Classic 30 had better way of handling this..
Yesterday I got my Kemper. I love it to bits already, except I noticed the same problem when I plugged in my flat-eq monitor headset. There was the attack problem again.. Almost as if "Presence" was tuned to 110%.. It doesn't matter wether I have compressor active or not, the problem is still there.. I want the soft mellowed transition, and I want to play the notes before they play themselves!

Thanks guys! Yes guizmobro I agree. I will admit that when I get new stuff, I get EXTREMELY impatient. I want to understand everything at that very second But after posting my last post yesterday, I just sat there tweaking for hours.. Suddenly I was FIVE hours past bedtime. I found out many of the things I needed myself, and also was able to make several performance profiles to my likings.. So much freaking fun!! Thanks Wheresthedug for telling me about locking the effects and changing cabinets only. That one came in handy!

Thanks, yes that's true. But problem is that I don't even know what to look for in the manual. I understand you have to press remote button and the kemper stomp button at the same time to add that effect to the pedal, like I saw in a tutorial video, but that's not working. And adding freeze effect to the remote is not working either. But you're right I'll skim through the manual more thoroughly and open new posts if I can't figure it out

Ahh I see. I thought he meant that it was illegal or something.. Was thinking in the lines of "maybe it's illegal to talk about paid presets because it's against Kemper's rules" or something. May I ask something else? I am currently trying to assign rigs and stomp boxes to my Remote.. What happens when I turn on another amp? Will I lose all my assigned stomp boxes, stomp delays, wah etc? I'd like to store it as a PEDAL set, but can't find anything in the manuals about it. It was a pretty sparse manual.
EDIT: And also the looper button on remote isn't working it seems. It just says "empty" when I try to push it and loop my chops
Oh man I have thousand questions. How do I remove/delete stomb effects that I have added to "X" or "MOD".. How do I assign a function to my Remote, for example delay freeze? Sorry guys. I'll stop bugging you if there is some place good where I can learn all of these things

Yeah. I actually went down and found one in the basement of the apartment building here. I remembered there were a bunch of cables lying around there. Any idea where I can purchase these plugins from Mbritt? I saw it on youtube, more specifically Matchless SC30 R 2- (Matchbox 30) - M. Britt

Thanks Chris Duncan .. This is really useful information for me. I'm gonna go with the studio monitors to get the best out of it!! By the way, I just got my amp. I am unpacking it now as we speak! I'm so hyped! Any idea where I should put these annoying half drunken elves that's been bugging me ever since I picked up my amp?
-
Thanks Chris Duncan that explained my concern. Might have to save up for monitors aswell then :(..
I was actually looking at iLoud for monitoring Kemper. Hoping it have flat sound like the studio monitors.

I have a THR10c which i like, and obviously a Kemper which i like too, but both don't go very well together.
I must also keep the volume down in my bedroom and i use most of the time Headphones (DT-880) and sometimes Studio Monitors (Focal Alpha 65).
I am very curious about this statement. He likes the "almost same" amp that I have, and also the Kemper. But they don't go well together?
QuoteHi keem85
I received my KPA last week and spent some time with it this weekend (wife and kid take up most of my time
I only used headphones until now and I confirm that it sounds amazing! I checked out some Plexi and Tone King Imperial profiles and I just couldn't stop playing. I played a screaming maxed out Plexi next to my sleeping baby son.
Being able to do that was the main reason for me getting the Kemper and I confirm that I don't regret getting it
cheers
guizmo
guizmobro Is it possible to route other audio through the Kemper at the same time? So that I can hear a backingtrack in the same headphones for example?

Thanks guys! The first thing I'm gonna do is to assign compressor to all my patches, and a tuner (Always need that tuner regardless of what setting I have on the Remote).. Do I need to do anything special for the tuner to mute output signal when active? I read somewhere else that output is still present when having the tuner active. Also, what integrated compressor pedal would you recommend?

Thanks Chris Duncan yes it got sorted out vjau75 Why doesn't them mix well together? Doesn't it just work as a normal clean speaker? My THR5 seems to do that..
I have some last silly questions for you guys. I was wondering about creating a new forum thread since it's about something else, but I'll try here
-Now that my toaster and remote is on it's way, should I spend time learning them both, or should I learn all the basics on the toaster itself f? I'm a little unsure about the complexity of this. Somehow I'm dreading to get it.. Afraid that it's too complicated and afraid that I went over my head buying two very technical products at the same time. Maybe they get so complicated that I just stow it away, that's what I fear
-Usually one tends to use bridge pickups for solo and neck for rhythm.. But with the diversity of Kemper, do you still switch pickups even now that you have "performance" mode on the toaster?
-Your opinion: If Kemper really is this good (as all the reviews obviously says it is), why do you guys think normal pedals are still so popular in the market? I just sold my pedal board with polytune, compressor, delay and looper.. Hoping the Kemper will replace it just as good.. That the tuner mutes output signal, that the compressor is as good as my dynacomp was, if the delay is as good as the Flashback I had etc etc.

Hmm I ordered it yesterday. I did not get any order confirmation on mail at all (checked spam mail also). Package is not even shipped (should be shipped yesterday), and it's just completed on the page. Money has been withdrawn. Wonder if there is something wrong with the ordering system. Had other problems during payment yesterday also.. Can't find a support email, only phone number?EDIT: Nevermind, I'll stick to the order number on my profile page. I guess the confirmation mail is not so important.
