  • Hi Colin, thanks for your reply.

Is it the Sustainer 100, 100A or 200 that you have ?

Are they together in the Rockman style rack ?

I'm assuming they don't hum or hiss like some old equipment can, but please confirm this.

    Pricewise, for the Sustainer 200 I'd say £200 and £100 for the Chorus/echo ?

For part X - plus or minus - I have two Mission pedals for the Kemper and a powered Kemper Kabinet I'm considering to sell.

Microphone wise, a couple of Sennheiser dynamics and an SDC Audio Technica AT4051b that is new and recently bought on Ebay.

    Monitors - Dynaudio BM12a

  • Hello British, could you give some details on condition and are they in full working order ? I'm in Manchester and what kind of price are you thinking of ?

    Regards

    Lyn

    • Hi Lyn they are working as the day they left the factory and they are in show room condition .They were only used for a short while for one recording session . price wise make me a reasonable offer or part X

      Regards Colin

    • Sorry for the delay Just retreived the full 19 inch rack from storage cupboard which houses the 100A Rockman Sustainor and Stereo Chorus/Delay

I just checked Reverb.com bearing in mind these units are 100's on there and mine are 100A's and the average price per unit of the 100's is £460 to £530 I also checked a couple of other sites of guys that previously sold there Rockman's so if you could possibly sweaten up your offer a little bit I'm sure once you have checked reverb as I said you will realise why i need a little bit more

      Kind Regards

      Colin

    • Hi Colin, Have just seen your reply. I expected to get a notification when you messaged, but did not. I had messages in 'conversations' previously on here but can't see how to send a Private Message now. Anyway, I have seen some of the Reverb prices and think they are quite a bit over the top, and not many selling there at those prices ...

I checked on Ebay completed listings and a Sustainer 200 sold for £245 recently.

I'll have a think about how much more I can afford and definitely get back to you by the weekend. :)

      Best Regards

      Lyn

    • Hi Colin,

Well, after some deliberation I don't think I can increase my offer at the moment. What with Christmas coming and I have to figure in the fact both modules will probably need to be re-capped to perform at there best. Being close to 40 years old, capacitors dry out and degrade over time regardless of having little use or not.

Would be nice if you care to post a picture here though ...

Having said that, I may be able to do something in the new year if you are not in a hurry to sell, but I'll leave it at that for now.

Would be nice if you care to post a picture here

      All the best

      Lyn

    • Hi Lyn

It's not a problem , I totally agree christmas can be a drain on the family budget.

Also I will send it off to the technitions to check that it's serviced and safe to last many more years

That will be after the Christmas holiday now .

      Kind Regards

      Colin
