i dig my kemper. i gig with it and sounds good. a few months back i also bought an axe fx II xl and im liking this tool also. the one thing that stands out for me with the axe is the deep editing software that makes it real easy to get around . some would rather physically tweak knobs but i would rather use software .
does anybody know if there is going to be an editor from kemper in the future?
wish for kemper editor software

Only the Kemper team know the answer to this and I'm sure they are keeping it to themselves until the right time

what harm would there be in sharing this info ? dont have to set a time frame even. just to let people know theres work going on for an editor. unless maybe there would be a thread about a mile long full of speculation and wish lists. even then i see nothing wrong with sharing this.

I feel Kemper like to keep things close to there chest especially since Cliff from Fractual copied the Pure Cab feature released only a few days ago. I agree an editor would be nice at some point but I'm not in a rush as I find the KPA interface quite well
laid out -
Noone of us knows what surprises Kemper hides FOR us, if we would know, we would also know the next axe feature...!?
-
that very well may be a nice surprise to have an editor in the works but as i had stated earlier that fractal already has a kick a$$ editor so nothing for cliff to "copy". im not taking sides or a fanboy of either tool, they are both great in my opinion. i just would like to see a good editor for kemper. thats all i am saying.

Me to. I just use kemper as a recording tool and an editor would be great. Used some great homegrown stuff, but there aint nothing like the real thing.

Naming can be done in rig manager and you can also connect a keyboard to the KPA now to rename rigs
is that in rig manager 1.5 that renaming can be done or earlier versions? is that a beta version ? and not trying to be difficult here but wouldnt it be easier to just have your usb cable hooked up to send and recieve data instead of hooking up another cable also for your keyboard? -

You can rename rigs in earlier versions of Rig Manager, too.

Boblatz, the keyboard is meant for the times when you are far from your computer
when you are not, use RMHTH

Personally not bothered about an editor, but i expect that one will appear eventually..

+1.7 billion. Seriously.
I customize my Timeline and BigSky's patches on my computer. I customize my controller's settings on my computer. I download sheet music and learn music on my computer. I can download rigs, and, as of the beta (which I refuse to update to until it's a formal, stable release), you can manage performances.
The missing piece of the puzzle? Editing the rigs. Seriously. I don't need some beautiful UI (though it would be nice to have Rig Manager + whatever this is as an iOS and Android app) - I just need something so I can tweak parameters from my desk and pedalboard, without having to reach up and dig through the front panel.

+ a lot!
An editor would be very very nice. A feature I have been waiting for since I got my Kemper -
The community editor is pretty great though. I could use that and not need another ever again.

At the cost of sounding like the smartass of the week, i'll state the following.
i am sure Kemper don't need further requestes about an editor.
i am sure they have already decided a related strategy for the future.
i am sure they have a list of priorities.
and no, "reminding" them about the editor every 18' won't change the above.
