Power Kabinet orange light question

What's up with the little orange light above the power on and off button?, what is it for?

The power on button is green but the little orange only lights for a second when turning the Kabinet on.

Got my Power Kabinet last week and I love it, I am just curious about it.

I imagine it's a clipping signal just like on the output LED of the head. You usually get a slight "pop" when turning on any type of amplified device -causing a quick clip. You only have to worry if the LED goes red or off.

I use a power head and passive Kabinet so haven’t seen the behaviour you describe but that would be my guess too.

Well, it is mentioned as a “Protection LED”, clipping indicator makes sense.
