reference amp is clipping the profiler

I'm trying to make a direct amp profile of a pedal + an amp. Each time I get the message "reference amp is clipping the profiler".

I lowered to return level to -32 dB. I'm using the Behringer red box GI100 with the two -20 dB pads pressed down, but I'm still getting this error message.

What am I doing wrong? It tells me to lower the volume on my amp, which I don't want to do because it will generate a different sound than the one I want.

The strange thing is, yesterday it worked, and today it doesn't... Don't get it.

OK, I found the cause: an XRL cable! I changed the cable and it works now...

I was just thinking what might have been changed with the previous day when I did the profiling and it succeeded... The only thing that had changed, was the cable
I know that cable still works because I used it for another connection without any problem... But I guess something must be wrong with it... difficult to figure out what. Anyway, good to know: if anyone has the same problem: try changing the cable first.
