First time using Kemper/Matrix in a rehearsal. Little Problems.

Hello

i am a brand new Kemper user. The sounds at home are blowing me away.

For live Situations a bought a Matrix active q12a Speaker and used it for the first time today in a rehearsal.

The Clean Sound is great and really cool.

But when i switch to a Profile with crunch or distortion, i get very nasty feedbacks!!! Thats really making it hard to use.

The Volume was not very loud. The Matrix Speaker was about 25% and the Kemper Master Volume was about 5,0.
It was a totally usual volume for rehearsing. Why do i get that fu*** feedbacks???

my guess is: microphonic pickups.

I agree with Don. Try another instrument first, to make sure. I've had some nasty squealin' coming out from one of my guitars (Alnico II Humbuckers), but the other ones are ok, so I'm pretty sure its the pickups

I had a similar problem, needed to reset the KPA (hold system for 10 seconds during reboot) to fix the main/monitor levels
