Sure. Components are as follows:
http://www.thomann.de/de/somme…onolith_2_kombi_kabel.htm 10m = 69,00 Euros very good quality, very flexible (there are cheaper cables in this configuration available)

Total is 90,65 Euros.
Plus diverse gauges of shrink tubing. I used the self glueing type as it will not slip when mechanically strained. I chose to mark the MIDI plugs going to the IN on either device with the red tube (thinking Red=hot=bringing in signal=plug to the in socket, in case somebody forced me to have a drink before rigging up ).
The Y-mains cable is not a must have, but this way i need one free power outlet beside my profiler only and am ready to go.
The solder works were accomplished by my drummer buddy. He is very insane, shrinktubed every single cable inside the MIDI plugs . Built for eternity. He made one for the other (Profiler and FCB using) guitarist in my band, too, and attached it to the FCB with some mounting elements and cable straps so you never have to unplug the cables from the FCB. You can carry the FCB around by just gripping the snake. This second one has the powerplug cable exit pointing to the left (viewed from playing side) as opposed to mine to accomodate our usual stage positions. You may use a straight plug in case your postition onstage varies from gig to gig (i found that making the large footprint of the FCB even larger).
Beside the materials it cost a 1 litre bottle of Jack Daniel's old No. 7 for the making of the two snakes. If you are capable of doing some proper solder work (i am definitely not) you may enjoy the drink yourself.
I see the greatest advantage in being compatible with the standards in case of a failure or "where's the snake, i KNOW i packed it".
I am in no way affiliated to the stores providing those components, just a customer. You can find other vendors with similar products.
