Achievements oh goody like on the XBox One!
Maybe G-Dog meant "soon" as in number of posts, not length of time. As soon as we hit 100 pages we'll all get an "Editor Unlocked" message.

Hmm, I'll have to check this evening.

I'd recommend trying any of the lower gain profiles, if you want a good sound with lower/mid gain profiles you might look at some of the paid profiles of Michael Britt or the Tone Junkie. Many of the Tone Junkie profiles are excellent tones for that almost break up clean/crunch sounds it seems your looking for.
The Kemper IMHO opinion is the only non-tube/solid state/digital amp that sounds and reacts as a tube amp should.

I've been secretly sabotaging the Editor launch because this thread 'completes me'.
GET A ROPE!!!
-
A bit higher priced, but nice looking.

Sadly I don't have a Kemper anymore
And yet you still lurk and anxiously await the editor so you can get back into the fold! This speaks volumes about the all around goodness of the KEMPER! VIVA LA KEMPER!
-
Who are you really? LOL! Over six years and only 17 posts? I smell an alias/sock puppet!
I've owned a Kemper since they were first released. As a matter of fact I've had the pleasure of having only 1. A first release green lunchbox. Sold it to a bass player friend and bought the Stage. Anyway my point is that I don't have that many posts either. But I'm a gigging musician and just recently got back into the forum because of the Stage and the editor.
Once it gets release I may slowly fade back into the shadows too.

My backup guitar is complete. '79 Strat I bought and added a custom pickguard.
I love it when the finish sinks into the grain of an older guitar.
-
Two of my other guitars, Layla on the left and that's Jigsaw on the right. With my Kemper Stage on the stage in front.

Not sure, but here's my performances for my main amp, using profiles that I created. The cabs included are my cabs, and are from my old trusty Fender MH100 loaded with G12K100. The mics labeled are what was used, all mics were placed at the edge of the cap about 1 inch from the grill. All of these are merged profiles except the KT77 labeled profiles which are actually DI profiles with an IR of the MH412 cab with a SM57 in the same position stated before.

Four 8 ohm speakers in Series Parallel wiring will provide an 8 ohm load.
But four 8 ohm speakers all in parallel is 2 ohms...

PRS CU24-08
Dayum!
Looks like 408/Paul's guitar switching, but without the 408 pups. Spill the deets!
Glide got it it's a PRS Custom 24-08. A custom 24 with 408 switching.

Here she is this is Lucy. I've had her for about 8 months.

How loOOOong did they show the DI BOX BEFORE IT WAS AVAILABLE?
-
Oh come on... This is honestly one one of my favorite threads to check daily. lol

Okay, but where can we find said IR's. I've dug around the internet looking for the JM IR's and can only find some stuff for the Atomic Amps...
By the way I've attached some more of my own IR's that I've used. They're all pretty dang good if I say do say myself.
I‘ve tried jay Mitchell’s far field and the results are better than the normal cabs with all profiles regardless if they are Mbritts, Bert Meulendijk or tone junkie.

My own Uberschall profiles (in exchange). Lately I'm really digging the ones I did with KT77's that are DI only. I love my amp, but man it's a heavy bit of iron to load in on stage.
Others that I'm using is the TopJimi JJ100 profiles. Since thJerry Cantrell's signature amp, it's sound and feel is very similar to the Uberschall or a Bogner Shiva which were used a lot by him. The first two Alice in Chains albums were recorded on an Uberschall/Shiva predecessor, a Reinhold Bogner modded JCM800 2203.
I've used all of these profiles live with and without my own IR's. I record my own IR of my live guitar cabs and use them to send to the FOH while I run my cabs with a SS power amp straight from the monitor out of the Kemper. Then my band uses wireless IEM's so I get my FOH/Studio sound in my ears, and if I have issues, I just rely on my cab. Works great, I get the sound in my head consistently every single show with no worries about the FOH sound or someone else screwing up my monitor mixes.
I'm also trying out some Game of Tones Butterslax profiles, but they seem to be kind of jacked up in my opinion. Too woofy. Trying to dial them in but it's not working well.
