Hey Raoul,
where can I get a list of these bass amps?
Thanks mate
There isnt a list (well that i could find anyway) i just downloaded the free pack fro the amp factory website then loaded them into my KPA
-
I used mine for the first time tonite it was working ok but lots of pops and crackles so I done sone Internet research and found I need to have the my Digi 192 clock source set to external. I'll have another go tomorrow and report back
-
do i want SPDIF to be a stereo channel in my DAW or Mono as i'd pann the guitars hard left and right

simple:
use 'From Rigs' to browse through all the cabs of all installed rigs
use 'Local Presets' to quickly access your saved favs and imported onesGreat that sounds good!!!
So if i save a profile to Favs the cab is automatically saved to Local presets or do i have to do that manually and can you also delete cabs from local presets if you end up not using them but they stay in the all rigs???
Hope ive got it right

As I wrote, the 7 cabs you see are the ones saved by themselves. Rigs' cabs do not appear there, but you can use them anyway like londonjeepster wrote.
If I may, it seems reading the manual would much improve your overall KPA experience
So whats the point of having 2 seperate ways of selecting a cab eg local or all rigs ??? wouldnt it be easier if you could see all of them together i cant see the point of that. Bit like going to buy a cup of coffee in a cafe and they show you a menu but if you walk in the toilet there is another menu there with different coffee's???
I've have read the manual that came with my KPA quite a few times but it must be an old one as alot of stuff is not covered. A few things mentioned on this forum ive never come across

When you hold the cab button down you should see options to browse cabs from "all rigs"or "local".
Yep i see the all rigs and local presets pop up, whats the difference?? Seems a bit silly splitting them into 2 groups. I think from memory its the "all rigs" that only contains 7 cabs is that telling me out of my 296 profiles ive only got 7 different cabs???
-
This maybe a silly question (I'm sorry if it is) but ive narrowed down my profiles to 296 from 854. Im wondering if all the cabs that are assigned to them profiles are saved in the Cab section of the profiler. Reason for this is because when i want to see what amps sound like with different cabs i hold the "Cab" button down and i only seem to have around 7 cabs available????
Do i have to go through and save the cabs for the cab section separately (i hope not)
I think i maybe getting confused with all the stack, rig and profile settings. What is the difference between a stack, rig and profile

What is "Cab Driver" I've not seen or heard of it. Where abouts is it in the features?

Welcome to the club

Raoul, is it easy to use them like a wedge? From the pics it's not absolutely clear to me.
Yep these can be used as wedges or front of house spaekers they are shaped in a way that allows them to be used both ways. They are great, i cant recommend them enough!!!!!

Im sure these things will come very soon. Its Obvious the CK wants things right first before he just releases them. Im happy to wait if it means what ever they release will be the best they could !!!!

id love a librarian which ive read is on the cards. Not 2 fussed either about an editor. When i first got my KPA i thought it was a right pain editing profiles but now im becoming quite a wizz But a librarian would definatly help with organising profiles and finding the one you wnat quickly

If the commercial Amp Factory profiles sound similar to the free ones, I would not be impressed.
I have heard MUCH better profiles for free.
Just a little tweaking and here you go.
The amp factory profiles are very overrated and hyped for no reason (except for making money??), if you ask me.
I just downloaded the "go jimi go" profile (beside other TAF profiles)...just terrible.
Fizz and hiss and nothing that sounds like Jimi.
Why making such bad profiles public???
I wanted to buy a few profiles from them, but after I listened to the free ones I was no longer interested.Anyway, I am happy that many good guys
out there are doing a great job in profiling some real amps and offering a great basic sound for us...and almost always for free.
Many deserve respect.Rock on and don't get corrupted
I think And44 does a great job with the amp factory profiles they are great and what turned me on to buying the KPA i own bundle 2 and will definatly be buying some more worth every penny, turn on, plug in, turn up and play thats what i like

i use KRK RP8's in my studio and they sound fantastic!!!!!!!

Hey! How was the test with your Line6 cab????
My DXR10's arrived in time so i never used the Line 6 cab as i traded my Vetta head in against the DXR10's. These things sound incredible and cant recommend them enough!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, there are more bugs.
The aux Volume bug - which could be temp. fixed by turning the master volume - needs now a full reboot
So stay on the beta version for the time being then????
