Glad you like the tone Liam!!
Forgot I even bought these months ago, stumbled upon them messing in rig manager and found them dumped in a random folder by mistake.
Tried the direct with no TS the other day through my Marshall 1960A (g1275T). Amazing, tight but not ultra tight. Twinned it with the Tonehammer 1960AV merged cab. Just outstanding. Raised the mids by 0.8, raised the clarity to 2.3 perfect sound I hear in my head, now my go to profile for my main band.
Sounds very very similar to Steve Steven's distorted tone on Billy Idol VH1 Storytellers to me with the Tonehammer cab, a little detune, 8th note delay sitting low and a little hall verb so it can definitely do hard rock not just metal.

I use this feature in FabFilter Q2 all the time when mixing guitars, would be awesome to be able to have this option available at the unit itself.

I bought these a ways back but only got to try them tonight. WOW. The combination profile might be the best profile I've ever tried. So tight and crunchy but not squeaky or harsh for leads. It's one of those magic profiles where it makes you sound like a better player than you actually are. Works in a variety of contexts. HIGHLY recommend these. They're all good, and for recording it's great to have the variety of mics. But the combination profile rules the roost.
Whey! So glad you enjoy the profiles dude! Thank you for such great feedback.

Being that I've been studying the diminished scale, I figured why not put together a demo of two of these profiles today? Using two profiles (left and right) from G1 Productions Driftwood Profiles for the Kemper:

This ones going to be a gooden.
20+ profiles. All with interchangeable cabs.Up to 400 tonal options as a result.
Im currently in the 'refining' stages where im hand picking the tones that provide enough sonic scope for all tunings / metal styles.
In the link below is a small example of what you can come to expect from the packThe guitar used is my PRS c22 Brazilian with stock dragon pickups in drop D;

Amps so far selected are depicted above, however its likely some darkhorses may work its way into the pack. I guess I should do some more vectors!Mics used so far are;
Royer R121
Shure 545d Unidyne III USA
Sen MD421
Oktava Mod MK-012
AKG C414 B-ULS (1986)The profiles are designed for live and studio, theres going to be a huge amount of flexibility in the 'feel' and play of the tones along with how much leg room you get when using the onboard kemper Eq.
With the idea being that you should only be a few short movements away from whats needed for your project or performance.
Comment back with anything you'd love to be included in this upcoming pack.
I'll be doing my utmost to ensure that everyones needs are met!Cheers fellas,
George

so chuffed you dig buddy!
i want to give some heavy thumbs up for these profiles they are seriously killer!
-
Im a Metal producer, can you blame me ?
The 5153 and other packs delve further into other Rock territories also, with looser gain sounds and more open feel
For example I've profiled the 5153's Green, Blue and Red channels all with respective gains that best suit the channel. Lots of dirty loose grunge tones from the green channel in this pack
Cool!
Don´t forget to put some good Rocksounds into the pack too!
There are enough Profiles which are go deep into metal-territory.
But i´m not terribly angry if there are both in it. -
For the video I used my Wirebird Contour IV ( http://wirebirdguitars.com/wor…b_guitars/the-contour-iv/ ) which is loaded with Mules by Bare knuckle pickups
Really nice sounding profiles... can I ask what guitar/pickups you used

Order #3351I've loved Marshall's for years but the JVM is only one that ever really clicked and showed me what I was missing out on.
So incredibly happy that it's done the same for you buddy!Hey G1, I just wanted to say I really loved this pack. This is exactly the tone I wanted from the pack. I'm not much of a Marshall guy, but you may have turned me. I've always had appreciation for the Marshall sound, but always felt like it was a compromise - you get a sweet crunch but no djent, fat leads but dull riffs, etc. I didn't feel like that with this pack. Of course, a Marshall isn't going to be super djenty without a big treble boost, but I found the tone was right in the middle - still had the Marshall crunch and attack but mutes weren't just a percussive blast of mids - they had some saturation and crunch. Tone is both fat and crisp.
These are some of the best profiles out there, period. They engage me and make me want to play.
Also, great value. All the profiles are great, and only $6.

Jvm6 is my personal fave too!
What's the difference with the satriani version?
I'm generally using JVM 6 for my needs right now. I try to avoid using TS pedals for the JVM and OD1 Orange is my favorite channel from that amp. I used to have it, but I sold it to fund the JVM HJS (Satriani) version ;), so happy to have my old OD1 Orange back! And as I mentioned before in this thread, I don't like v30s with any Marshall, but the blending here between the two speakers really works.
