Me neither.
161 rigs is a huge difference, isn't it? I feel like I've been cheated. LOL

Yeah, I never tune "down". I always dip to below-pitch first, then raise it (with peg) 'til it's in tune.
Also, don't over-stretch new strings; it can lead to instability.
Trees, IMHO, provide another sticking point and therefore, for me at least, are ill-advised.
Locking tuners make a huge difference IMHO.
So classy.
What an excellent effort, Rob!
Loved reading the story, Inthrutheout!
I'm so very happy for you. That's bloody awesome mate!
What a beautiful cover, vizoo446! Well done man.
I bought the album when it came out on import for a premium price (vinyl). I never did buy another Metallica album as I felt this was the best-sounding and produced one.
Just so happens my favourite song on my favourite M album is... the one you covered, so if I say it's good, it's damned good, OK? LOL
Welcome, ColdFrixion!
I'd hold off on profiling for now, and instead audition freebies through Rig Manager and tweak my head off for a while.
Welcome to the club, FTUcub!
Get some sleep, brother; you'll need it.
Good one, Smitty.
Sounds like a lot of work.
Welcome back, nightlight.
So glad you didn't throw the baby out with the bath water.
Yes, IMHO it's worth buying if you hear what you like in demo clips or freebies. The hit : miss ratio is certainly much, much higher than that of the RE.
For me, phase problems are an issue as I'm extremely sensitive to them. The Pure Cab™ feature ameliorates this to a great extent when auditioning freebies through RM; I keep mine set on 4.0 for this. Good commercial packs won't require this level of Pure Cab™, but if you like it, it's up to you where you set it obviously.
OK... terrible as always, Maestro. LOL
Please, don't stop the PooToob uploads forever. I and many others would really appreciate it, mate.
Thank you again, Guido.
Audition folder in RM.
Studio monitors. No problem with Rigs sounding the same.
I believe these were only prototypes and not units that were on sale.
That's what I heard.
I'm sure most here appreciate your stats, Skoz.
I for one love it when you post 'em, and always find myself laughing as you continue to outdo yourself.
Awesome, brother.
Oh, and a big +1 and "liked".
One solution could be. When the Rig is active in the KPA, the vote function is available.
But its not to proof that the Rig is really listened.
Agreed Harry.
It's not perfect, but at least the Rig has to be activated, which IMHO is a reasonable compromise.
MHO on the star-rating thing is that it's just like movie reviews - 1 star is the pits and 5 stars is the bee's knees.
Excellent, Ludo.
Hot chops in the first clip, man.
Thank you, MentaL!
Yeah, my guess is that it'd be a 1-value change for MIDI CC controllers, and whatever voltage change it takes to produce said deviation of 1 from a conventional pedal.
I reckon the voltage resolution, or minimum-detectable variation by the Kemper would be more sensitive but is probably dampened / calibrated to correspond to the 1/127th of full-scale threshold for the practical purpose of MIDI control.
Besides this, some sort of threshold would have had to be decided upon anyway, lest false triggering due to tiny fluctuations (bumps of the pedal and so on) appear at the Kemper's pedal input/s.
I know nothing about electronics; I'm just trying to look at this logically.
Thank you Eric.
I saw it and copied it to my RE Bass folder a week ago, but haven't tried it yet...
Yup. Wuddun, Skoz.
A key combo to increment through the cab list would save a bunch of time too, much as the up / down arrows do for Rigs. A simple and obvious one would be to simply add holding down the command key whilst using the arrows.
To bring up the cab mini-window, hitting command-right arrow (left arrow or Return to close it), might be ideal, saving further mouse work.
One would have the choice therefore of scrolling through the list with or without opening the cab window. Open it to navigate directly to a cab down the list somewhere, or just use the command-up / down arrows to "blindly" audition. If curious as to what you're hearing or have settled on, just hit command-right arrow, take a gander and hit Return or command-left arrow to close it again.
Furthermore, the top cab in the list should be the default for any direct profile if another isn't specified in Preferences. This way we'd avoid having to hear the extreme pain that is the sound of most direct profiles.
