I did the cable test when i was troubleshooting the other problem. Plus i have my lead channel attenuator sitting in the loop. No tone suck whatsoever here.

I have to say I dont understand nothing.. is there a bug in the loop???
Yes. If direct out is set to mono it can cause erratic behavior of the loop volume. I had it in my rig and it's been acknowledged. That is why Don asked for the direct out settings. (I presume)
-
did you try this?
and what is your Direct Out set to?thanks
Btw: Is the loop bug with direct out set to mono corrected in the final 3.1x release?
-
BTW make sure your direct out is NOT set to direct out!
there is a bug in the loop when it is set to that. It is confirmed by Kemper. Set it to gtr+processing or off. -
Try patching the send directly to the return. If there is no degradation there the fault is not within the loop.

....that i could try for an hour or so. I dread throwing 1000 dollars after something i might not like.

In any case you wah volume setting should not be +5. If it is better at -5 (even if you find that too loud too) set it there.
-
Not yet since the rig will then be different sounding (in respect to the original) in the PA too.
-
This one will probably only ring true for those of us who use a real guitarcabinet on stage but still use the main outs to the FOH pa.
Sometimes there are profiles that sound great through the pa but needs adjustment for the cabinet. Sometimes it's the other way around. And sometimes everything just sounds good out of the box. It'd be nice if you could store the seperate eq (for the monitor out and main out respectively) settings with the rig instead of being locked to on sets of eq for the main outs and another for the monitor out.unless ofcourse it is possible already

Is there some date set for the release for the "official" non-beta version;
I guess most bugs should be resolved yet.
I'd rather wait months for a stable release than them rushing it.

Hello Guys,
we do something similar. It's not exactly the same concept because we do not realize stomps that you can load in the stomp section of the profiler but by the way we profile boutique and famous stompboxes (like the Pro Co Rat, Cornish SS3, etc) in front of a Cornford MK50HII head (clean channel). The result is a studio profile that capture the real soul of these pedals. For sure it's not like boost your favorite amp profiles using these pedals but it's a different way to get a similar result. If you want to try our profiles you can find a lot of them for free on our website: http://www.rigbusters.com

The Rigbusters TeamAs i only use merged profiles it would be very nice to know which of your profiles are merged and which ones aren't.

Hope i can explain myself on this one:
When making a profile of a direct amp the cabinet preset i have chosen to use for listening to the direct amp disappears after profiling. This makes finetuning by a/b comparison impossible. Please make it possible to keep the cabinet on when choosing "no cabinet" in profiling mode. Not even Locking the cab section will do this.
(and before all the "why would you need this" people get on board this is for profiling preamps like JMP-1 ADA. Triaxis. Rocktron etc etc etc.)

Thanks
i have to ask. Ever tried a ts10? It sounds VERY different than a ts9 and 808. Just ask John Mayer.....
I might ad that after profiling a ts 10 in front of a clean amp i came much closer after dialing a bit of direct sound in in the amp section. -
Hear, here Kim. A simple "mix" option on the pedals would also do. Just curious if you have any analog-world pedals with this feature, and if so which ones?

The Ibanez TS-10 lets some direct sound through. In fact that is what makes this particular Tube Screamer sound different from the others. You can play very rich chords and funky stuff with the gain all the way up without it getting muddy in any way.
The ROzZ Overdrive does this too. It is not a very well known pedal but it has a mid scoop that make it good for certain things.
The TC Nova Drive is an example of a modern era drive with direct option.

Nice! Hope you can change the battery?;-)
No problem. Like this:-)
-
I don't care if this is unorthodox. A "modified" TC polytune clip glued on is effin great
-
a stored merged cabinet = a cab profile
it will translate with any DI Profile - like that amp would with the profiled settings on that specific cab with that specific micingThis
-
But the drawback is that it uses a slot.
And the point is that it should be part of an input preset. That way all things related to a change of guitars us in ONE place. Hence not scattered between sections and menus. ONE preset per guitar. ONE action per guitar. -
