deadman42 Very cool to hear that inspired you a bit! Yeah,Im coming from a Mesa Roadster prior to Kemper so I get what you are saying about gain. Live is one thing but whenrecording....less is definitely more if recorded properly!
My 2 favorite profiles from Bert:
BM F-Man SAT 1 G6
BM F-Man SAT 4B G8/Boost

deadman42 I wanted to mention that I am very happy you mentioned the "less gain" thing. I have to say, I have been a high gain junky to a certain extent and have only recently started playing with my bridge pickup in split single coil mode. Kind of inspired by that early Ty Tabor tone. Im still using the high gain profiles but the single coil gives it a clarity that is really unmistakable. And when you double track, it becomes even better. So, I encourage all of you high gain guys to give the single coil a try!! Cheers!

A little more soulful is right on! Great tone man!

Thank you gentlemen! I really do appreciate your input. Always cool to get someone's take on influences. And I swear, I am not purposely going for a Sabbath vibe. Lol And Muddy, I will neither confirm nor deny said deal with the devil

Pretty easy to come up with subject matter for original music right now. I was compelled to write this. Hope all of you are safe and spending your quarantine playing guitar! Music is getting me through!!!! Oh, and as always, this features several Bert Meulendijk Friedman profiles.

MuddySludge That made my day...thanks man! Love the Leslie West reference. I admit, Im a sucker for greasy, slinky, fluid leads like in Mississippi Queen and also like Randy Bachman on Anerican Woman.

Wow! Prodigy! Amazing job

deadman42 Much appreciated! If I could only sing like Dug....lol. Very much looking forward to the new Kings X this year!

Welcome! You will see Headrush mentioned a lot on here snd on the facebook groups as well. Not saying they are bad but I want you to be aware of the EV zlx12p. Ive played this now for almost two years, probably 40 gigs. It sounds great (I had a Headrush and I think this sounds better). It is bi-amped between the horn and speaker(Headrush is not). It has some great adjustable parameters including EQ. It is lightweight. It is a reputable company. And the price is great. Headrush just does a better job of marketing to the modeling/profiling community.

Thank you gentlemen! Meteoroz , that's cool to hear the Bad Company reference. They were probably the furthest thing from my mind as I was writing this but, crazy how our influences have a way of showing themselves subconsciously!

Had a great time with this one. Intro/center guitar is MBritt Colonial and R and L guitars are Bert Meulendijk Friedmans. All guitars are played on a coil tapped bridge, which is a first for me. I was going for a Kings X kind of vibe with that tone. Not sure I got that but still like how it turned out. Thanks for giving it a listen!

JedMckenna Thanks man! Yeah, I've tried many other Marshall ish types of profiles but keep coming back to these same Bert profiles. And I did very minimal tweaking on them. To me, the less I have to tweak, the better and more authentic it will sound!

Well done and beautiful tone!

Not exactly new....had it for about a year now..... Kiesel Bolt. SliderJeff , seeing your Charvel, which I freaking love, made remember to put this pic in here. I am a huge fan of the super strats from growing up with VH, Adrian Smith, Jake E. Lee....the list goes on. This Kiesel fulfills all of my needs and makes me feel 18 again!

deadman42 I really appreciate the kind words. Thank you! Yes, the BM pack is incredible for it's size, sound and price. Hard to beat. And my core profiles that I use live are still off of the BM Friedman pack that I have used now for nearly a year and a half.

Very cool! I can add Mustasch to my favorite Swedish band list....Ghost and Opeth. This singer is cool. He channels everything from Danzig to Ian Astbury.

Kulle_Wumpenteich Love the Luigi! Not my typical thing but there is something about it....soothing. Just curious what your take on Mike Patton is. He has done a great job of bringing this type of music to a new generation.

Very greazy grooves indeed! Well done on harmonica as well.

I never did find out why. Mine did the exact same thing. The power light would come on and I could hear some hiss but no sound. Very strange. I just immediately went with a different product, the EV ZLX 12P, and have had no issues for well over a year now.
