I got the Ultra for effects, mostly to do that cool thing Muse did! 
I put on fremen's upgrades and it was a wonderful quite usable sound. I like it.
But the KPA does spoil you, and the addition of all the pitch effects make the Ultra kind of redundant for my uses.
It could still use an Arpeggiator, but I assume that's just programming in the future if it's whined for.
So I flipped it while it was still a hot item. But I must say, if you can't afford a KPA (of FXII) the ULTRA and then fremen's rigs put onto it would be the most amazing thing I've heard/played up through the 11R
