I had my Kemper Profiler stolen last night in Vancouver, Canada. It was the black version with the Kemper bag. I know it's a long shot but the Kemper community is very tight. Just looking to get the word out. Thanks.

That sucks! Send a mail to support with the serial number. If they sell it sooner or later somebody will try to register it in order to download updates and profiles....
-
Thank you so much for your help . Forgot about the serial registration. I'll email them right now.
-
That's really bad. Sorry to hear that. But maybe the new 'owner' can be tracked this way.
-
That really sucks...

Sorry to hear about this. I've had a couple of guitars stolen and it really sucks. Maybe Kemper will be able to find it for you.
-
Wow, I'm really bummed for you. Sorry this happened. Hopefully it will be discovered when someone tries to sell it, and you'll recover your Kemper.
-
Definitely watch ebay, craigslist, and sites like the gear page for sellers that are near your location.

You might want to delete this thread so it doesn't tip-off whoever stole it that registering it may get him/her caught
-
I would be really surprised if whoever stole it would not sell it immediately for small money, to somebody that will then sell it quietly at market value. Whoever will try to register it, will prolly not suspect being a stolen item...
-
That really sucks, man. I don't think leaving this thread up will make a difference. Inform the Kemper Amplifiers company and perhaps they will be able to notify you in case someone tries to register the product to download profiles or whatever. They may be able to get you an IP address as well, in which case you'll be able to contact the police with that information.
In a worst case scenario, the guy that stole it is a musician that just wanted your gear. It'll be really difficult to find out if they just refuse to register or anything. Keep your fingers crossed.
How exactly was it stolen? Did someone just lift your bag? Was your car broken into?
I'm thinking I should get my gear insured. I wouldn't survive if it happened to me

+1 HELLO! Publicizing it wasn't the best idea...
You may want to request that this thread be deleted. Ask Kemper to flag the stolen unit as soon as the new 'owner' attempts to register it. Kemper will most likely ask you to de-register the unit so that the system will accept the re-registration.

This thread is older than old, my friend. -
No point deleting this thread. Was this a registered user? At any rate, I suspect it might have been passed on to some unscrupulous musician.
Dirtbags everywhere, man. They ask you to listen to their tracks and then don't listen to yours and otherwise disrespect you
