I did some test to see if it was noticeable differences in tone tracking DI in different ways.
[DI Box: Countryman Type 85] [Audio Interface: M-Audio Profire 610]
1. Classic way:
Guitar -> DI Box -> Audio Interface (monitoring with a plugin)
2. D/O Analog:
Guitar -> Kemper -> Direct Out (Git analog) -> Audio Interface
3. D/O Studio:
Guitar -> Kemper -> Direct Out (Git studio) -> Audio Interface
4. SPDIF:
Guitar -> Kemper -> Spif Out (left ch) -> Audio interface
Conclusions:
Not noticeable differences at all. It doesnt worth to even upload the audio tracks.
The classic way has a very tiny coloration. Not differences in noise ratio.
You can see the EQ analyzer.
1. Yellow / 2. Purple /3. White /4. Blue (Forget that green line)

I also reamped all DI tracks (spidf) to see if something would change, but it was even closer.
