My Curse cover By Killswitch Engage

Hi fellow Kemper users.

Here is a track i recorded with a band yesterday all live with no overdubs. The band are looking for a vocalist and decided to make a demo so they can give to people who might be interested in joining. Two yes, TWO kempers were used for the guitar sounds and i think they sound pretty awesome myself. Like i said it was 1st take with no editing or overdubs recorded straight in to my ProTools HD set up. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks for reading Raoul

Guys these lads are only young!!!! and havent been playing that long at all. If i could have played stuff like this when i was there age i would have been very happy. This was all done live no over dubs!!! with two guitar players. Ive heard alot worse playing from professional famous bands live!!!!!

My KPA used the Lasse profile of the 5150 and Cybertwins KPA was using the Ubershall profile but I'm not sure by who it was created by. Maybe he will chime in and tell you.

still pretty good, esp for live takes - like the tone. but really the saving grace is the difference in tonality between the guitars. the guy on the right has the tighter, brighter tone and his attack is more prominent, and it hides how off-time the right field is...at least during the faster parts.

Constructive advice is is always welcome and the boys I know will try and learn for it. I uploaded the clip really just to show off the use of 2 kempers and the awesome tone it can bring. It wasn't uploaded for people to hammer the boys playing. Yep no doubt it could be tighter and if they spent a week in the studio analysing each take we'd get there. But they were on both a tight budget and time scale and it was just a demo for a singer

But thank you for your input I'm sure I will past it in to the boys so they can improve their playing
