My 2nd one arrived last week.
Expanding the band monitoring system mainly.
You see I'm not selfish!

Thank you, Alex! Do you like 'em?
I like 'em so much! Just one DXR10 is not enough for me though -

Basically, Ingolf is a most caring individual

Useful thread - thanks.
I've been contemplating a DXR10 and these comments help loads

Have fun with it David!

Yeah, it definitely makes sense to set the input to Line when you feed it a line-level signal
-
Yeah, user error in the first place.
Common sense is there's still a very little hiss with proper gain staging. -
i received today the dxr10 and tried it with different Settings, EQ, on Monitor out, and main out, with EQ Correction, no dsp, no hpf but the Sound is not really good in comparison to my studiospeakers. it´s very harsh and i feel i miss something.
i give them back

Well, if you feel the DXR is harsh then let me tell you: if you had the CLR directly side by side the highend would even be more pronounced.
As a conclusion i think you may have very special, mid- heavy studio speakers. Which brand are they? -

Harsh? Really? You probably have an issue with your speaker... Because, to my ears, the DXR10 has a shiming high end, which is delightfull.

So please spare me the wise-ass response when a simple thank you would suffice.
I don't know that they can....see other post histories. Don't let it bother you. Move on and enjoy.

Just to be clear: I wasnt using the DXR10 on the wrong setting. When Input 1 isn't even in use and the volume is at zero the noisey mic pre still negatively impacts the overall hiss of the speaker.
So you're saying that when you use Input 2 or 3, if Input 1 is set to Mic it will introduce a hiss even with the volume at 0? That's a good find!

Please, mine is a Sage ass. Could never stand wise asses.
a simple thank you would suffice.
Well, I'd not know what to thank you for, since I don't use the item and do not plan to. But since it seems so important to you, thank you

For anyone who actually uses the DXR10 or is considering purchasing one, and lord knows it's a big hit around here, you're probably connecting your Kemper with guitar cables into the quarter-inch jack(s) of input 2. I am. If you've experienced hiss with the speaker, you may want to set the little switch on input 1—the input with the XLR jack—from "mic" to "line". It makes a significant difference.
Thank you!
