i was playing the other day and noticed that the fx slots no longer light up as they should with the eureka prom.
is this just a problem on my end or was something changed?
2.4 no longer sending fx status via midi out to eureka prom

A quick way to tell would be to reinstall 2.3.3 and see if they now work.

i was wondering if some setting needed to be reset or something like that it worked great in 2.3.3

It might be a good idea to open a tech support ticket with Kemper. If this DOES work in 2.3.3 and DOESNT work in 2.4 then they need to know about it.

Did you wait till the kpa was booted?
If not, do not switch on the fcb before, cause the eureka prom thinks it is a one cable connection. -
Good point. I always wait for the Kemper to be fully booted up and running before turning on 1010.

i just tried with another fcb that has the chip and it works maybe something is wrong with the fcb

I have the Eureka prom and have been using fw 2.4 since a couple of days after it was released. Been working fine for me. I'm pretty sure that the Eureka prom polls the KPA a couple if times a second to get the stomp status via sysex. May be worth going through the Eureka setup again to make sure it is still set to Kemper mode.
