So the Hk pro arrived yesterday,
And it sounds great with the kemper,its close to my studio monitors
And now because of the great new firmware the lows are under control

Absolutely loving my Mission Gemini 2 Active FRFR with Kemper. I'm also using it with Fishman Tripke Play Midi Guitar, Boss GP-10 Guitar Processor and more. I'd say as long as you're using a good Quality FRFR active Cab you should be able to fine tune it to your liking, the important words being Good Quality FRFR. When I used Tech 21 power Engines, which are great active Cabs but NOT FRFR, although I enjoyed them and found a great tone, too many profiles sounded the same.
I can distinguish very subtle differences in profiles now. The HK is selling at a good price point. I'm interested to find out how well it " Translates the Kemper's profiles. I listened to 2 high end EV monitors, a 12 and a 15, and I thought the 15 was not a good fit for Kemper or Pod HD-500, (just my opinion), while the 12 sounded superb. Same model Range of EV's just utilizing different low end speakers.

Hey the Mission Gemini 2 they look great,i never heard of them..
But i cant find them here in holland

frfr speakers are not going to seem as loud because of how much air a 4x12 cab can push out. but in terms of clarity you can't beat it. I'm running the stereo outputs as just an effects signal, and the direct out to the mixer along side my speaker out to a xitone 2x12 passive speaker live. Sounds pretty awesome!! Really loud on stage. I am thinking about running a tube amp in a parallel path for a richer sound but that is pretty ocd...but if your looking for a speaker i would recommend checking out xitone. They are reasonably priced and sound good.

Yes its a 15 inch -
for my main rig i us a madison divinity 3 4x12 and my jam/practice rig i use an evh 5150 III 1x12. both sound great. i use the evh 1x12 way more because my kemper is upstairs with it and i play my kemper more than my 5150 III and II

Just bought Kemper Poweramp and now I'm trying to find good FRFR-speaker for it. Is there any reason to get active one because there's a amp already in the Kemper? There are lot of passive FRFRs for sale for very reasonable price. For example Matrix Q12. I'm wondering if there is a reason why people are trying to get rid of them.

Welcome! The Matrix Q12 is a very good FRFR cab. I bet some are selling because they're not ready to do the paradigm shift from guitar cab to FRFR.

Even passive ones? I'm wondering if there is a any reason to get active one because I've a power amp. Is there any differences in sound quality?

What have people been using for passive FRFR since this thread started awhile back?

You don't have to rely exclusively on merged profiles.
You will find that the Cabdriver feature does a great job separating the cab from normal studio profiles as well.
