After some quick googling that card held the processor, flash, and ram.

Well done, PhillUK84. I'm glad that seems to be sorted. I'm convinced there's nothing wrong with your Kemper, otherwise it wouldn't go work at all. That buzz is probably just in your head after all the worry. Congratulations on a successful repair. And thanks for those pictures of the innards.

I wouldn't be so sure. It could easily be something on the input or output circuits. If you think something is different than it was before, then you should have it looked at.

What about input and output circuits? - stop telling stories please:) The HB are ok So its OK!!!!! Silngle coils have some hum - its ok - they have a lot of hum:) -
Well, the hum is definitely increased, it also increases when playing. My girlfriend even said 'that's a loud buzzing' when I didn't say anything to her. I've played single coils most of my life so I'm used to the hum and don't notice it. I played through my Bassman and Rockerverb with my Strats and Teles today and the hum was minimal.
I think I need to send it in tbh. Why it isn't there with my LP is strange, but it's definitely too loud as it is, so something is up with it.

I agree I'd also have it checked after a knock- out like this. Contact support for the procedure.

Yea there's definitely a problem.
It basically hums quite a lot, and now there's a ticking. I made a recording. You can hear the ticking at the beginning of the recording and I increased the volume in the middle so you can hear the hum. It's a lot more apparent in real life and increases as you're playing.

I can definitely hear something oscillating.
As for prices, I don't know.
Like I said, contact support to tell you the procedure with a service center near where you live. -
Thanks. Do they have one in the UK?
-
I really don't know, but shipping with UPS or DHL within Europe takes 2 days max.

I filled in a form a few days ago but got no reply. I'll give it another go.
I don't know if you remember, but I had a lot of issues with my Kemper when I first got it. I thought that it was like an 11R, but better. Now that I understand what it is, a recording device that saves recorded tones for use at any time, and after I've spent a fair amount of time since getting it in the studio with my band, I hear that the tone that I hear from my Mic'd Bassman in the studio sounds exactly like the Kemper does.
I wouldn't use it live because I prefer the sound and feel of a live amp for myself, but for recording, it's amazing. I'm also using it at home a lot more and it sounds pretty great. I have to say that I\m not a huge fan of it through the headphones though.

The KPA doesn't record anything. It figures out how an amplifier modifies given tones, then reproduces those characteristics ... -
I never said it records anything, I said it's a recording device; A device that can be used in the process of recording.
-
Sorry, my misunderstanding of "saves recorded tones". Carry on.
-
No worries. I meant internally, as in, it captures the mic'd tone of an amp for use at any time. My ambiguity is at fault also. Apologies.
-
This is not usual hum but kind a digital one. I agree - something is broken.
-
Thanks for the insight in the inside of the Kemper. Hopefulle you will get it repaiered soon. The noise does not sound nice...
-
Yea, hopefully it won't cost too much. Gah.
