awesome! why are they for oversea users cheaper?
Because overseas users do not have to pay the German / EU VAT, which is 19% for products out of Germany.

I'm very interested in this. A great solution and I love any type of DIY project.

Excellent!
Now.... take my money!
-
I'm not sold on human hearing being 64-23k Hz though....
-
yeah...that is a little on the optimistic side, but that does not matter.
The GFR goes up to 8kHz and most people ARE able to hear frequencies higher than that.
That is where the FRFR kicks in.Tilman

But when? When when when?

Tilman, can you say something about the directivity/dispersion of the cab?
IOW do you need to tilt back the cab on stage? -
If you want to use it in the GFR mode, there is no need to tilt it back. The 12 inch speaker does 80 x 80 degrees. Like a coax. If you run it the FRFR way, the tweeter chimes in at 60 x 60 degrees. So it´s the best, to lift the cabinet up or tilt it back. I prefer this one: http://www.standback.net/ , because the cab stays on the ground and the bass response is better than in the lift position.
EDIT: If you are a kid or just 1 meter tall, you don´t need a tilt back.

Thanks Marco, 80x80 is great. And yes, I've got one of these standbacks.

Please release it.

Is it still planned for W8?

I see a big success for this cab! The quality, the price and the guitar cab look should meet the need of a lot (if not the most!) of all kind of modelers users. Big move from KPA-Solutions!
