Since I updated to OS 10.10.1 from 10.8.5, the profiler is not recognized any more. The rig manager doesn't see it, nor does it appear in the audio midi setup of the OS.
I tried another USB cable, no luck. The Kemper is directly connected without a hub.
Profiler doesn't connect any more with rig manager on Mac OS 10.10

I believe RM installed a different driver for 10.9 compared to 10.7/10.8.
10.10 probably uses this "newer" driver.
I would back up the database and "update/re-install" the latest version. -
Thanks bigHF, that fixed the problem!

Been using the OSX 10.11 beta and have not been able to get my MacBook to recognize my KPA.

You need to run the installer again. -
I'm having the same problem on the Mac. I've run the the installer a bunch of times and it doesn't help. I've done on 2 different Macs. One with USB 3 ports and one with USB 2 ports

OS version? 10.6.8 isn't supported.
Have you connected your Mac to the proper USB port (Type B) on the Kemper - not the one that you use for your stick.
Did you check the cable (use it for a different device)? -
The same for me: The Rig manager doesn't recognize the Kemper anymore and I can't preview, upload or download rigs. My iMac is on 10.10.2

If this happened after updatimg from OS X before 10.9, you need to run the installer again. -
Timo, not sure if you mean run the OS X installer or Rig Manager installer again--Pretty sure (hoping ) you mean Rig Manager. I'm running 10.10.4 now. When I upgraded the Macs to Yosemite I was running whatever was the latest the latest version of OS X at that time. I've tried deleting the Kemper folder in the Library/Application Support folder and it doesn't help. Are there any other Kemper files somewhere in the system that might help the situation if they were deleted and then reinstalled with the Rig Manager installer? I am using the Type B USB port on the Kemper
Thanks

You need to run the Rig Manager installer again to install the "10.9 or later" driver, because the "10.8 or earlier" driver does not work under yosemite. Deleting files does not help. -
I ran the installer again--It was around the 6th time I've tried. When the Installation Type dialog came up I unchecked "Driver for OS X 10.9 and higher" and then checked it again. Did the installation and now it sees the Kemper. Weird!
Anyways, all is good now and I really appreciate your help and patience Timo!
Thanks,
Bob -
glad it works now.

gsWhen might we expect compatibility for this, my kemper is not recognised by my mac running OS 10.11. Rig manager is the new 1.5.11 beta and kemper has the latest beta.
currently cannot try out the new performance reordering etc in the new rig manager

We are currently working on 10.11 compatibility, but I can't tell you a date yet.

I am on Yosemite version 10.10.4 and can't get Rig Manager to recognise my Kemper. I have reinstalled a few times with no luck. I was going to try my Kemper at a gig for the first time tonight, but have now wasted a ton of time trying to get it talking to my Mac. I don't have time to get it set up for the gig now!

After reinstalling Rig Manager a few more times, it finally recognises my profiler. Phew!

Also having problems due to the same issue, using the 10.11 myself. Installed a few times, used different cables. I look forward to when its resolved.
Thank you KPA admin!
