Hey guys,
Do you know of any good blues or jazz DI profiles?
Just looking to try some out with my own 2x12 guitar cabinet and I'm mostly finding hard rock and metal DI profiles.
Thanks for you help!

Hi
try the Fender ones from Rig Exchange
just type Fender or Deluxe Reverb, Princeton
or other Model Names from fender in the search field
and they will appear
some pretty good ones there
matchless is good too
trey the free replate pack from amp factory, outstanding one
Thanks.
And these are Direct/DI profiles?
No
these are not made with the new 2,8 FW
but worth trying as they are with tweaking
when using a cab
or with cab off, just try and dial in what you like
Thanks but I already have hundreds of good profiles but specifically looking for good blues and jazz profiles made using a DI box. Not necessarily the new profiling method (2.8 onward)
Just profiles done using DI box (no cab in the profile) that would be suitable for blues or jazz.
got it now
but i didn't ever look for this kind
so i can't help
sorry
hi
checked on rig exchange
type in fender and there are some Fender tube amp
profiles made with DI
sure something in there what you like

I don't get the relationship between Blues/ Jazz and no cab.
Do you think the classic Blues and Jazz Tones are achieved without cabs? I don't think so.
OTOH there was an era during the 80's when it was quite common to play directly to desk during recording sessions for ultra clean tones. But this wasn't in the Blues/Jazz genre either more in Funk/ Fussion.
No, I have TONS of good profiles I've used in the studio but for live use I would like to try some profiles with a guitar cab hence the search for good DI/Direct profiles. This will my 2x12 cab will be the only cab colouring the sound.
I play blues and jazz which is why I'm looking for blues and jazz style profiles.
The profiles I'm currently using with my guitar cab sounds quite good but they're typical profiles where the kemper is making assumptions/guesses when it comes to removing the cab sim.
But in the end is better to use ears then thinking is something will colour your sound
Even the new DI rigs made with fw 2.8 will be sound different with your cab because they was proffiled with another cab with different impedance over the spectrum.
Guys, I get it.
Just looking to try some DI profiles for fun since I've never tried any. Curious to see how they would compare to regular profiles with the cab profiled.
Lots of wise guys around here.
Sheesh.
It's not to many DI profiles because the truly DI profiles are on 2.8 FW and those cannot be uploaded to rig exchange. 2.8 is still not official.
Use search with 2.8 fw - in the threads some users are posting new 2.8 fw DI profiles.
You've been able to do DI profiles FOREVER. You just couldn't do profiles where you could profile the cab and amp seperately. With 2.8 and beyond you can. People have been doing DI profiles for years.
Please only post in this thread if you can help me find DI profiles. It would be appreciated.
For example the Ace (Skunk Anansie) pack that Kemper released recently has about 5 DI profiles made on version 2.7 or older. They all sound great through my 2x12 Mesa Cab but they're more rock/alternative type profiles. I'm simply looking for some that are more blues/jazz oriented.
search in this thread:

there are some 2.8 di profiles.
Stay cool:)
Thanks. Don't see many blues or jazz profiles in that thread yet but I'll look more closely.
I AM staying cool. I just prefer people trying to answering my initial question as opposed to trying to teach me something I already know.
It seems I initially misunderstood you.
Sorry.
Didn't mean to sound patronizing at all.
I get now what you want.
Cannot help you tho' 'cause I never tried D.I. profiles either.
.
I will want the same soon to try with some EV 12's I have. Hopefully soon after 3.0 is released we will have many options. Also, mainly jazz here but I currently use full profiles. I am looking forward to better understand the new profiling and the differences in both the amp and cab vs. before.
