I'll admit - I learned about the MIDI functions by digging into the screens, This is a case where *I* need RTFM some more
While not silent switches, these are on par with traditional amplifier foot switches.

Almost finished installing.
By the way, I suppose they should fix this:

I'd have done the same if I were at home. Instead, at the office quietly obsessing about music/gear stuff, as usual.

Cool. This probably wouldn't be a deal breaker unless they were massively loud. (The NI RK3 was truly insane. As in, often louder than my actual amplification.) But CC support is mandatory for me. In it's absence a vanilla MIDI pedalboard - despite the many drawbacks - is actually more attractive.
They should be $600 silent
Cool! Now if my order would just get processed

I feel your pain. Mine is worse because it's delayed because I used the wrong email on my order...
Thanks, Paul. Yes, I read the manual addendum and got all the details re: Program Change. It sounds well thought out as always. But in absence of Exp. Pedal CC, the Remote would increase footprint and cable count for me, instead of simplifying things as I'd hoped. I know I'm an exception and I don't expect Kemper to lose any sleep about it, just a missed opportunity as I said. Here's hoping for something in 3.01.
Interesting. It's a matter of degrees then. I prefer metal switches that provide some tactile feedback but aren't too loud. I've had a couple of controllers that were completely unusable on account of "click" - the worst offenders being NI's Rig Kontrol 2 and 3. I was hoping Kemper would go with silent actuators like the ones TC used on the Ditto looper - enough "feel" for live use, quiet enough for studio use.
You won't be dissapointed, they're pretty silent. Really great hardware components. And also well crafted. (I always tighten the screws before using a device for the first time). The Remote's switches are really well mounted, only some screwing to the Jacks for the expression pedals was necessary. It's really solid as rock.
Sounds promising, Hurricane. Now I just need a solution for outboard control. MIDI CC transmit or a few additional exp. pedal targets (e.g. Parallel Path Mix) would do nicely.

Mark, I'm with you on the MIDI CC's . Paul
PS: Hope you get yours soon
wow, I have been scouring this forum for anything related to the remote & just now saw this thread for the first time, it must have been hidden really well, I am happy for everyone that has the remote, Please keep posting pics, what would really be great would be videos with it in action..
