Haha oh bum. I bought my first packs of yours last night!
Oh well, still great value in my eyes. Thanks very much for the helpful responses.

I grabbed a few packs of your profiles over the weekend. Those are some of the best I've heard, for rock and metal. The 1992 Rev F pack (Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier) was exactly what I was looking for, for punk tones, as well.
I haven't been through a lot of the profiles, yet, but the Kerry King signature sounds great too. I was kind of disappointed when I saw that there were only 14 profiles in the DSL100 pack, at first. You clearly state how many profiles are in it, so I didn't feel ripped off, but I found it off that it was the same price as the other packs, with many more profiles. Once I started playing it, I realized that I didn't need more than that, for this amp. Every, single profile in that one is awesome, and it covers everything you need. Hopefully others aren't scared off by the small number of profiles, because it is a great pack.
Lastly, I like you you include cleans and/or lower gain rigs for these.
The five for the price of three deal is awesome too. Thanks for the profiles!
Thank you very much
Yes that was my point with the DSL Pack..i usually try to cover everyting the amp can do and the DSL is a simple amp and
also simply sounds the best with a Marshall cab. Nothing more needed

Hello Lars,
I was thinking of picking up some new KPA Cabinet preset profiles. I remember reading that you offer a Cab package, that have Merged profiles in which one can accurately separate the Cabinets, so they can be saved as dedicated Cabinet presets. Now, I realize we can technically do this with all Merged profiles...but if my memory serves, you have a pack that was specifically developed with the focus on the cabinets.
I did have a quick look at your site, but I couldn't find this pack -- although I was in a bit of a rush, at the time.
Would you kindly post a direct link to this pack. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
John
Hi John
All my profiles have merged cabs, so you can do this with all of them.
I released the Mesa Oversize pack because i bought my Oversize cab after many Amp packs had been allready released.
This will also happen at some point with the Peavey cab i bought and maybe some other cabs in future.
You find the Mesa Oversize pack here: http://tonehammer.bigcartel.com/product/mesa-oversize-pack

Thank you, Lars.

I would just like to jump in and thank Frank and Lars one more time for the excellent work on profiles for the metal guitarist.. Having originally come here from the "other" camp, only two sources of commercial profiles have convinced me to be worthy of buying everything they've released..... these guys are one. Thank you guys....\m/
Please continue the great work!

Yes i know they look almost the same...but they sound extreme different!
Here are my thoughts about the JVM Satriani Model
If you are looking for the JVM tone...don´t get the Satriani Model. Sounds totally different, yes even OD1 does not sound close!
If you are looking for a spot on JCM800 with tons of options, Gainstages etc and a Overdrive Channel that is voiced almost the same as the Crunch Channel
get the Satriani JVM!
Much more raw..unpolished...open and less gain (still a ton just more Gain knob range useable)
The cleans match the 6100 Anniversary model and are lovely. Not sure which clean channel i would prefer but the Satriani one stays cleaner in higher Gain levels.
Theres also not a big jump in volume between the clean green, orange and Red modes compared to the regular JVM!
Overall the voicing is darker with much more balls and doesn´t get as fast harsh. Some miss Bass/Lowend with the regular JVM..you will not miss that with the Satriani model.
The built in gates per channel are very good too!
Working on the Profile pack the next weeks

I current have ten Tonehammer packs, and am getting ready to buy a few more. I was mainly wondering what you all though of the differences between these three seem to be:
Piwi 51-50 MK1
Ewiaitsch 52-50-III 50watt KPA Profiles
Piwi 3465+ KPA Profiles
I was planning on getting the following:
Pack 1:
Larsball JWM HJS Satch
Mega Boobie - Roadwing 2
Mega Oversize Pack
Larsball - Jay MP One
Soldato Hot-dog 50+ Depth mod
Pack 2:
Larsball JWM 410
Sure Batscher 35
Ladoka Mr. Hacktor Mk2
For the last two spots, I was debating between:
Piwi 51-50 MK1
Ewiaitsch 52-50-III 50watt KPA Profiles
Piwi 3465+ KPA Profiles
Mega Boobie Royal Ocean
Piwi Dribble XXX
Bengl Säwätsch SE KPA Profiles
I really want to grab at least one of the EVH/5150 style profiles and maybe two. Anyone have any thoughts to share? Thanks!
I haven't had a chance to check out most of what I just bought, but that JMP-1 sounds awesome!
