When making a D.I.-profile, is it necessary to switch off the "cabinet-button" during the profiling-session or will the KPA recognize that the return-sound is without cab-speaker?
Will there be a new profiling-manual?

At least it tries to, which doesn't always work properly accoring to some reports. -
yeah, for odd reasons and I faced it also. I did direct amp profiles which sounded as supposed to be. I stored them. When trying them in browser mode, they had a kind of cab'ed tone. the tone sucked but it was like that. Reboot the amp and the direct amp profiles sounded like supposed to be. I think Kemper team will learn something this week... "Ne jamais courir 2 lièvres à la fois" is a french expression that says "never try to do two things at once". Floorboard release + FW3.0 release. Too many bugs to face at the same time, with the pressure of the KPA users...

I'm having a problem creating a direct amp profile, from a Marshall Major. The Major's speaker output is connected to a power attenuator, the TAD Silencer. I take the TAD Silencer's Line Out and connect that to the return input of the Kemper. But I always get the error message that the amp is too noisy... I reduced to gain to a minimum. Also reduced the return input level on the Kemper to a minimum. Still got the error message! Help! Anybody got a similar experience making a direct amp profile?
