Hey Guys,
so my question is, what can the Remote specifically do via Midi.
I want to control my 3 Big Stryomns and the Profiler at once. So i would Need 3Programm-Changes und 3 CC messages that are programmable for every preset.

From the "What's new in version 3.0?" document:
Transmitting MIDI Commands in Performance Mode
MIDI commands can be triggered and transmitted to up to two external devices, whenever a Slot is loaded in Performance Mode. Select “MIDI Settings” on page “Slot Settings” and select the MIDI program change numbers associated with Slots of current Performance. In System menu, navigate to page “Perform Mode: MIDI”, and use soft knobs 1 and 2 to assign a MIDI channel to each of the external devices. Use soft buttons 1 and 2 to determine whether the corresponding external devices are connected to MIDI OUT or MIDI THRU. For your convenience you could also assign logical names to those two external devices. -
Does anyone know if "Midi Clock Send" was also included?
-
What about sending CC's
-
The addition of sending PC to external devices works great and definitely a very valuable feature.
After some testing it seems like there's no MIDI Clock send and no CC's. Hopefully this will be added soon for those of us who use external gear.

CC on slot change or controllable from a pedal?
-
Sending CC controllable by a pedal or switch would help a lot of us avoid additional cables. I suspect the OP needs clock even more than CC for his Strymon Trinity. Sending clock also makes the beat detection feature actually work for those of us with external gear (and helps avoid additional cabling).

Sending CC's is most important to me.

thanks for all your answers!
Means im sticking with my Roland for now -
If you want to control all three Strymons, you can do this, no problem. Just send PC messages to them on the same channel (different from the Kemper). They all have midi thru, so they will all pass on the messages to the next device in the chain. In this way, you could also have two pedals connected to one channel and one pedal to another if you want.
You will be limited to patch changes. Unfortunately, CC messages cannot be sent through the Kemper at present. Hopefully this will be an upcoming feature update.

thank you all, for your Responses!
Sadly i Need the CCs to Control More than what the PCs alone can do.
Go Intro endless repeats etc. There are so Many things TimeLine, Mobius and BigSky can do^^ -
hope someones here to help!
My remote works fine. But now the KEmper doesn't appear to pass patch change info to my GR55 (which works fine with the Remote). Anybody know what's up with this????I have a gig tonight and don't have time to finish programming the remote. Which I find only a little bit tedious without a programmer
-
It was working before? What did you change?
Do you have the MIDI thru or MIDI out programmed to send the program changes to the GR55?
Is the cable connected to the correct jack?
Is the GR55 still set to the MIDI channel you specified in the Kemper? -
In Performance Mode, each slot is programmed to send MIDI PC changes to one or two devices, on the channels you specify.
-
so I can't just use the FCB1010 in browser mode, like I allways have and have it pass MIDI PC's to my GR55 through the KPA's MIDI through! That sounds like a through box between the FCB1010 and the KPA and the GR55 .
-
As far as I know, that should still work. Do you have the cable plugged into the right jack on the KPA? Can you use the GR MIDI thru instead?
-
There is no MIDI thru on the GR55. Yeah! I've allways fed the GR from the MIDI through on the KPA. Tried the MIDI out but that didn't work either.I'm thinkin maybe a bug in 3.01.....
On a good note I thought my Toaster through the CLR soundrd exceptionaly good tonight at gig -
I forgot the 55 did not have a MIDI thru (I sold both of mine when I got the KPA).
I suggest downloading and installing 3.02, and testing it. (There was a different MIDI issue mentioned as fixed in 3.02 release notes) If there is still a problem, open a Support Ticket, so they can look at this. -
Thanks, I have rehearsal Tommorrow . I'll bring it home and download 3.02 and see if that solves it.HERE'S HOPIN !

I'm a fan of browser mode as well and thinking of buying a gr 55. Curious if this fixed your problem. Also, would not mind getting some thoughts on the gr 55 from the likes of you and others. How well it interacts with the kemper ? Would you consider it a backup ? Do the amp models sound like the typical digital poopy ? Seems like an enormous amount of possibilities paired with kemper. Ultimately though does it sound good tonally...
