Anyone used an attenuator when creating a Direct Profile instead of a DI? I am using an Aracom Attenuator.

yes i do...but not as a load..that would not provide good results. I use the Jet City Jettenuator with not too much attenuation just to not kill my neighbours and use the Lineout from that

thanks for the info! yes, I'd be using the line out from the attenuator. Since all DI devices color the sound as well, I thought I try that

Same here but with a THD Hotplate. Have gotten some decent profiles through trial and error.
