Rig Management Instructions... Where?

    I've seen lots of discussions referencing Performances and so on but I cannot see anything in the documentation about this. Since I am planning to move over from the Fractal camp I have a big learning curve in front of me with the KPA and I'm just a bit disappointed about the apparent lack of adequate operating instructions for a lot of what I read about on this forum. I expect to be annoying a lot of folks here soon with questions about how to perform basic tasks and operations... (and yes, I have already watched a lot of Youtube "how to" videos).

    I think Stringtheorist is right. The documentation is very thin. The only information for performance mode
    (i think the browse mode is clear) he can get in the Reference Manual on page 114 .

    Thanks Hal, but I've looked in the Basic and Reference Manuals and don't see any mention of Performance mode or any other kind of mode operation. Page 114 in the Reference Manual is all about hardware.

    As you guys have already determined, there is a paucity of information related to "Performance Mode". However, with that said, "Performance Mode" is mean't to be used and exploited with a floor pedal. Either the Kemper Remote, or the The Behringer FCB1010 with UnO Chip

    The main difference between the Browse mode, and the Performance mode, is that in Performance Mode, you can select five "Rigs" which are immediately stored in the KPA's RAM memory, for instant access and switching.

    Here it is. It is quite extensive, and has a ton of great info. But, I still recommend you read both the Kemper Basic Manual and the much more detailed "Reference Manual", as well as it's "Addendum 3.0", which are all available on the Kemper site under Downloads ==> User Manuals.

    Woops. Lol, I have read the 3.0 updated versions of the Basic, Reference and Addendum manuals, probably cover to cover a dozen times. I just assumed Stringtheorist and hal2000 were speaking to the latest manuals. I haven't used the Performance Mode, so I kind of skimmed over any part of the manuals that discussed it. I should have double-checked the manuals before I posted, instead of GOOGLing external resources/info. 8|<X :D
