i just want to share some piece of free software for live simulating analog electronic audio equipment(mostly tube and transistor simulation). I founded this some time ago.
For every DIY FX maker may be helpful - it is based on SPICE simulation. You can play on guitar live and heat the resulting sound.
@DonPetersen - this may help you to simulating some rare wah's.
