performance load option- Please explain the function

I know there's going to be a blindly obvious answer to this, but i'm too dumb to find it...

What is the purpose of the newly-added system menu function "Perf. Load" ?
the user addendum v3.1.4 says;
"added: new “Performance Load” options “Pending”, “Slot 1”, “Keep Slot” replacing “Performance
Autoload” which doesn't really explain much, to me at least.

Similarly, and on the same system-page, (3/17) there is an "auto favorite" option.
Can anyone explain the function of this too?

I think it is now that you can have performances load either the 1st slot of the next bank up/down when you press up or you can have it stay on the same slot number when you bank up/down or you can have it so it doesnt load anything until you press the slot number

thanks, Raoul, so really for use when sending bank up/down messages that transmit prior to, or without, an additional "slot selection" message?
I guess this why there is no noticable effect when calling rigs/slots with a "direct" midi-prog change (that doesn't send bank-data)

Yes- the three different functions work with the Bank Up/Down switches on The Remote, too.

I don't see anything like that in the v3.14 documentation.
