Why not?
Keys & Kempers & EDrum.
No mics, no need for a treated room.

There are many known Bands that use "only" edrums or programmed drums for studio.
Even if he wants to record with acoustic drums afterwards, this does not mean that the other instruments will be recorded again.
Would be unusual to record Drums after other instruments but who know.

Someones Mum wont be happy, messing up the lounge like that...
