Howdy from Bavaria! (Also got a few beginner questions)

  • Grüß Dich Alex!
Lass Dir Zeit.

Ich verstehe langsam was du meinst ...

And thank you so much for the warm welcome again. I now was able to spend quite some hours again in our rehearsal room and we also did a band rehearsal. The band was really impressed. Our bass player who a few years ago introduced me to the idea of the the KPA was really stunned. He also thought I'd mic'ed the cab because it sounded so naturally (I was of course going straight into our PA, the mic was just still hanging around their because of profiling reasons). Really, really great experience.

  • Howdy,
I live closer to you. Got the KPA since 14 months and you bought a tremendous tool. It's easy to forget playing when you get deeper in the KPA. I recommend not to focus too much on profiling as beginner, because you will find many rigs which easily will meet your expectations. A good starting point: Play with the amp parameters in the amp menu and watch these videos. We can't explain them better here.

  • Sounds like you were having a really good time. What sort of music does your band play? I'm curious to know the name as well... ;)

I am! I just love it. My band are The Educated Apes. Check out http://www.facebook.com/theeducatedapes and http://www.soundcloud.com/theeducatedapes

Hope you like it. Quality on SoundCloud is poor, hopefully we'll get some better recordings soon

Thanks for the link. I'm already right into tweaking all the parameters. It is absolutely fascinating!
