And cut a piece of 1/4-3/8 inch foam or similar to place between them , so the KPA doesn't get scratched
I had been porting my KPA bag for 2 years before I put the remote in it and the zipper would close about 60% of the way. After a few weeks it went all the way. Now it's got room to spare. So the bag does stretch.
My only fear is that the straps are connected with what looks to be metal that isn't the strongest looking connection. I would suggest using a 2nd strap or otherwise find a way to reinforce the existing strap with a back up connection for the extra weight the bag wasn't designed for.
In using the bag this way for a year I haven't scratched the unit but it never hurts to use a buffer.
I also got extra cables, Cat5, Power cable, USB, etc so I can unhook from my desktop and not take the wires. The bag holds all the 2nd wires plus headphones but I have to leave the side pocked open when that's stuffed in there.
