Yoav Efron's (free) kemper profiles videos

    Hi guys,
    I'm absolutely in-love with my Kemper!


    I'm constantly looking for cool profiles on Rig Manager and thought, why not share them with everybody, so I started making video shorts where I find a cool profile, use it in my productions and share it with you. Next in line is the commercial series! :) Anyway, here's the first "episode". Hope you like it :)

    what I'd particularly appreciate would be some comment on the reason(s) and way you used a certain profile, how you tweaked it and the like. And a vast array of genres and styles of course :)

    I would love to do so (and plan to as well), just need a few followers who'd be interested :)
    But I am in fact working with a few friends to produce a more diverse collection of sounds and genres.

    Nice, I liked it and subscribed. I agree w/ Gianfranco, it's nice to hear the profile in a mix, but commenting about what you were looking for, things that didn't work, and what you adjusted to make it work, would all add value.

    hehe, I can see why you'd think that, but I'm (kinda) hoping people would actually download the kpr I share and see for themselves, test it out etc.
    Also, you probably know that all too well, sometimes it's just a feel and not a measured decision, even though I pretty much do the same thing every time hehe, then tweak it to fit the production.


    What I would like to know (actually hoping for such interactions) is whether you liked this one (the commercial) better than the free profile from two days ago.

    Yes - and I agree (even though your profiles do sit better with other cabs compared to most stock profiles I tried), but for the 1st video, I wanted to use the two favourite 3rd party content providers (sorry couldn't find a better way to say that hehe) - which is yourself and Ownhammer. Next video I plan on using one of your Invader profiles (with stock cab).

    Lately I've been experimenting a lot with the low end, so it's actually the Bass that's making it sound "massive". My reamp chain also goes through Warm Audio's EQP-WA (EQ disabled) which adds (in my mind of course) extra depth, but it's mostly the Bass/Guitars combo I've been experimenting with :) The guitars themselves actually have an MB comp to tame the low-end and are HP.


    I'll gladly discuss my signal path/chain in depth in the future. Just trying to keep it simple for the time being and not become "one of those tutorial videos" ;)
