What kind of cabinet is going to be used? I think that Petrucci uses 1x12 Recto cab nowadays.

In general, I like this meticulous approach. Same mics, same amp and same. Although this still leaves some guesswork: mic placement, mic blend and the eq applied to the mics. What happens in the studio will of course vary depending on the song, and live is a whole another deal. Nevertheless, I would be happy if the profiles would sound anything like in the Tones on Tour -video.

The recto 4x12 sounds better than the 1x12 with the JP2C

THX Armin, this is great punch right out of the box.
My fav after 1/2h of playing is MBJPC 2 13 EQ1S RS. I scooped the mids to -0,7 at the main eq.
Fantastic sound out of my frfr. Much more to check, but i am hanging on this beautiful punchy sound.
BTW: With which signature model did you use when profiling?
Played with my majesty it's a little clearer and agressive than my JP6 bfr, but only a little. I don't make different performances for the guitars because i like to hear when they sound a little bit different. Both sound great.

And i checked it also with my ibanez jem, evolution pu's. You dont need a JP signature (better you have one , he he ), it works also great with the jem. I only have to use your eq in stomp D with my les paul. This beast is too bassy.

First reviews.This sounds like a Boogie (it is q good sign). Very pro sounding. I especially enjoyed the SM57+R121 profiles.

I also experimented by replacing the cab by my favourite one (A MArk2C+ one), and it sounded glorious, less metal than with my 2c+ for instance, but unique !! The tone remind me Doug West testing the Mark5.

A big up for this pack, you can explore vintage tones also with them !
