Latency between KPA Power Amp Speaker Out and Main outputs (SOLVED)

I hear a delay in the Main Outs compared to the speaker output of the KPA built-in power amp. I have a powered KPA with a 1x12" connected to the Monitor output. The Main outs go to a yamaha mixer, then to a hifi installation (good Yamaha amp + good Klipsch speakers). It's like an attack delay when I pick a string, quite annoying...

I'm a bit afraid of this because I'm planning to buy a Yamaha DXR12, which would be connected to the Main outs and maybe would have the same problem.

Any settings I should check? Any suggestions?

It would surprise me about the mixer but I can do a test connecting the Main Out's directly to the Yamaha hifi amp.

It's not really the Monitor Out (I will change the title of my post) - it's the speaker output of the KPA built-in power amp to the connected 1x12" speaker. That signal is quick and normal. But the Main Outs are slow.
Difficult to record onto a DAW since it's a speaker out...

Then connect powered speaker (if you have, or this Yamaha hifi amp) to MAINS OUT and 1x12 cabinet to SPKR OUT of poweramp. Any delay?

Then add mixer to this configuration and try the above procedure.

I don't need a DAW to prove it, I can hear it without having to visualise it
I will try without the mixer and see if that's the source of latency. Don't have a powered speaker (yet)...

Thank you all for your help. It is indeed the Yamaha mixer. Took it out and it sounds much quicker. Will get a powered mixer to see how that sounds before I invest in the Yamaha DXR12.
